But Mirror's Edge always looked like that? It's white, black, grey and red, that's the color paletter for you.
say whaaaaat [t]http://storeimages.impulsedriven.com/product_gfx/mirrorsedge_ss6.jpg[/t] you're missing a lot of blue in that equation of yours
I hate prequels, but whatever, was hardly the story that was the focus of ME1. Good to see it was still the same style of the first one. Imagine if it looked like Dead Rising 3...
I never understood why people even liked Mirror's Edge.
Because when it came out it was an orgasm of graphics only comparable to Crysis, incredibly awesome music, plus it had this thing called PhysX. That being said I can agree that the colors and whites are NOT as vibrant as they used to be, assuming that wasn't just the filter rape int he trailer.
YES, saw this from the livestream. Fuck yes. I've finished the first game AT LEAST 5 times.
I loved the first one but disappointed that this one is going to be a prequel, I expected it to be a sequel.
are they seriously going to call the second game in the series the exact same title as the first one
are they seriously going to call the second game in the series the exact same title as the first one
Hum... What? The sequel of Half-life is not Full-life, it's Half-life with a 2, so I don't get why you think they should change the name.
All I want is free roam Just give me that
are they seriously going to call the second game in the series the exact same title as the first one
They probably haven't decided on a name yet and just called it next-gen Mirror's Edge.
The reason people liked Mirror's Edge was because it was an incredibly solid game compared to other games released around the time. It felt like DICE actually thought it out, balanced it, and wrapped it all up in a neat package. It had its flaws (read: combat) but all in all it was a really nice and unique game.
Also the cops seem even more futuristic to me which is weird if it's supposed to take place before the last one
But Mirror's Edge always looked like that? Fuck yes.
Also the cops seem even more futuristic to me which is weird if it's supposed to take place before the last one
Agreed, why is it that stuff in a prequel looks more futuristic and more intricately designed than stuff in the first game which is set after the second game?
Maybe the getting tattoos is in a flashback, and the game is a sequel? It would explain the more futuristic cops.
The shade of red that appears everywhere is really throwing me off. I always think of vibrant, bright red that shifts the player's focus. The trailer showed a lot of darker, crimson, almost blood red and it feels off. Mirror's Edge used a fade to white for all of the level transitions and respawning. I wouldn't be surprised if Mirror's Edge 2 uses fades to black instead.
This looks fucking awesome and I'm super excited for the first time about a game in a loooong while also the new soundtrack sounds fucking rad, I love when a game's music all revolves around a little melodic line, as it does in the trailer also happy wheels glass sounds lmfao

Let's hope they don't make a bland storyline like the first one.
Occulus Rift support pls
Occulus Rift support pls
DICE wanted to get some intern like fucks into their office to work on RIFT support for their titles. I'd assume they'll delay the release to coincide somewhat with the release of the consumer version.
I like how the cops look.

multiplayer/free roam please
looks excellent
Take these with a grain of salt tho, maybe ME2 will look colourfull ingame
i'll just crank the color saturation up by 25% in the GPU settings, that's what i do with most greyish games anyway of course it'll never look as good as it could if the actual game had more color to it but to me it's a better alternative than Grey Sky So Real

The music at the end kinda sounds like a remix of the original Lisa Miskovsky/Solar Fields theme in the first game At least it's not wubwubwubstep
