okay. one time i did aspirin and the next day i was doing oxycodone. aspirin leaves you curious about other pain relievers. [sp](Its about self control. No offense to you intended.)[/sp]
Let me put this in a more specific way: Recreational drugs can be life changing. I don't think I've ever heard of anyone taking aspirin recreationally And yeah, it's all about self-control. Curiosity can be the darndest thing sometimes....

what about: one day it was some dessert after dinner, next I was eating cake for dinner, and not before long I weighed 600 pounds. recreationally eating high-calorie foods makes you long for more.

As a teenager, I tried baileys because of it's dairy-like tastes and appearance. Not long after, I'm drinking harder liquors. The harder liquors are eventually not enough so I start drinking the hardest, some times hallucinogenic liquors. It's at this point I turned to full out hallucinogens. Hey, milk started it all!
hallucinogenic liquors, what
hallucinogenic liquors, what
Absinthe used to be hallucinogenic. Once they changed the dyes contained in it, it stopped being so.
Absinthe used to be hallucinogenic. Once they changed the dyes contained in it, it stopped being so.
What? Not exactly. They used to believe that it caused people to go insane. The combination of ethanol and thujone has a fairly unique effect. You can simulate it with a bit of salvia officinalis and any alcohol Absinthe used to contain more thujone from wormwood than it does today. Most governments impose limits, but common sage (salvia officinalis) contains more per weight than wormwood.
should be schedule III [editline]21st October 2011[/editline] At least
It time it will.
quite beating around the bush and just fucking legalize it
baby steps, my friend, baby steps
It time it will.
Its the equivalent of that over here :v:
I live in Boulder, where pot is widely accepted. It's a haven of cannibals and rapists, all addicted to heroin and meth because we began smoking pot. People are starving in the streets, fighting over food stamps and joining gangs to survive. We cannot allow this legislation to go through or else the fabric of society will crumble.

"Like morphine and cocaine", as if they are much more harmless than marijuana.
(1) Schedule I.— (A) The drug or other substance has a high potential for abuse. (B) The drug or other substance has no currently accepted medical use in treatment in the United States (C) There is a lack of accepted safety for use of the drug or other substance under medical supervision." None are these are true for Marijuana. Sounds like a fair request to me.
Absinthe used to be hallucinogenic. Once they changed the dyes contained in it, it stopped being so.
It didn't, you are wrong, it was a myth. I know because I was thoroughly dissapointed when I was only incredible drunk off half a bottle of proper absinthe with no hallucinations. Also if you look it up it shows it doesnt have hallucinogenic properties.

But on a serious note, where heavy drugs are used and common, light drugs will be too. The light drugs are not the cause of the heavy drugs, the heavy drugs are available for their own reasons, not the least of which are the activeness of the pushers and the aspects of the black market. I don't think it's an absolute thing.
It was probably placebo for them.
But, but, it's a gateway drug! First it starts with pot, then your children will be taking meth and cocaine and crack.
A gateway drug to my fucking kitchen
Not really, the stuff that makes you hallucinate is called thujone and its not even proved that that can make you hallucinate.
