In America, R is "Anyone under 17 not permitted unless there is an accompanying adult." It's pretty much the equivalent of 15+ in most countries. And I'm pretty sure you're allowed to have titties and cock in an R movie as long as nothing too sexual is going on. However, the MPAA is incredibly inconsistent with it's reasons for rating things.
I feel like Colossus's appearance in the movie was a metaphor for other kid-friendly superhero movies. The way he keeps trying to convinced Deadpool to be the good guy, and to refrain from maiming or killing people. [sp]He doesn't visibly maim or kill anyone during the fighting he partakes in, contrast to Deadpool who's slicing people up with his Katanas. And at the end he vomits when he see's Francis's brains blown out, and is visibly shaken. The scene is too intense for the kid-friendly superhero.[/sp] I couldn't help but think about those people who wanted a kid-friendly version of Deadpool as I watched the movie. Nearly the entire damn thing would need rewritten and reshot, at that point they're just making a completely separate movie with a similar plot. Deadpool is far beyond the line that censorship can cover, like one of those FOI CIA documents where 90% of the page is blacked out like ███████████.
I saw it with my girlfriend, and she doesn't even like superhero or action films, and she loved it
I saw it with my girlfriend, and she doesn't even like superhero films,
Isn't Deadpool like an Anti-Superhero film? [editline]15th February 2016[/editline] Like he isn't the villain, but he isn't the superhero/good guy.
German version censored? Cos I recall seeing full nudity at one scene.
There was a lot of nudity. Toplessness, full frontal nudity, Ryan Reynold's [sp]mutant cock[/sp], Ryan Reynold [sp]fuckin a chick[/sp], Ryan Reynold [sp]gettin pegged by a chick[/sp], it was all good family fun.
They're already considering making other R-rated superhero films thanks to DPs success, starting with X-Force. http://collider.com/x-force-movie-rated-r-simon-kinberg/

I liked it more than I expected to, as a person who's had no experience with deadpool at all.
and people said it was going to be on par with a family guy movie
Rated 18, yet they weren't able to show off some naked body parts.
You get plenty of tits and ass throughout. There is literally one censored breast through the whole movie and it's part of a joke.
[sp]Was not expecting to see Bob in the movie at all, was an awesome touch![/sp] It’s a pretty cool little Easter Egg.
[sp]I like how jacksonville florida is a joke for the entirety of the movie, including bob[/sp]
You get plenty of tits and ass throughout. Blind Al was one of the best parts of the movie. [sp]God I miss cocaine[/sp]
Haven't seen it yet but seeing those ratings, I'm surprised it's 13+ here in Canada. I was expecting a 18+ rating when it's R in the US.
Blind Al was one of the best parts of the movie. [sp]God I miss cocaine[/sp]
[sp]There's 116 kilos of cocaine buried somewhere in the apartment, right next to the cure for blindness.[/sp] Deadpool is such a dick :v:

[sp]it probably feels giant in this[/sp]

Besides nudity was never an issue with our rating board.
Sucks that some parts were censored here like [sp]the part where he shoots 3 guys with 1 bullet and I think they cut out the sex scenes entirely but not the masturbation one lol.[/sp] Great movie nonetheless. Also since 20th Century Fox is on this too, will there be any ties to other marvel films such as The Avengers?

I'm honestly surprised they didn't break the fourth wall about it to make it more blatant. What you see in the trailers is just about the only parts of the movie without nudity, blood, guts, gore, or language and if you were to edit the film to be "family friendly", you would get just that - the trailer for the film.
Honestly my biggest issues with the movie come in the forms of pacing, an overabundance of jokes resulting in a lot of hits and a lot of duds, and some scenes that could have been tightened up. It's pretty much what you'd expect of a modern Deadpool movie. Glad that it means people might consider R rated Comic stuff though, there's a lot of really good mature content in comics that can't really be covered in a PG-13 format.

Am I the only one whod love to see a Wolverine v Deadpool sequel? They need to cut the Wolverine pussy shit. I wanna see him slice some shit up
Am I the only one whod love to see a Wolverine v Deadpool sequel? They need to cut the Wolverine pussy shit. I found the movie okay. It did have some pretty good lines, but I found the jokes to be hit or miss. That being said, they didn't miss that much, and when they did hit, they were really good.

Also, Bob from Jacksonville is Bob, agent of HYDRA.[/sp]
