Wait so let me get this straight He didn't get homework and for protesting he got 2 days free of school Holy shit what the fuck how does this even work I wish It was like that in my schools too instead of baton beating
I can just imagine it now. He ends up not getting into any other schools. Abandoned by his parents, he ends up living on the streets, doing hard drugs. "will suk dicks for homework"
Kid looks like he would grow up to be a massive dickhead
Don't know why, but he looks like a politician.
Give it 25 years and he probably will be one.

According to the article he lead a '100 strong' protest. I wonder how many of them were actually protesting that, and how many just walked out 'just because' Anyways he wasn't permanently expelled, he was only out for 2 days.
It's likely to be his uniform, my old school uniform consisted of a proper buttoned shirt, tie and blazer. I didn't mind it (although I hated the blazer) because it looks better than a scruffy polo shirt.
I'd hope everyone's isn't as ill-fitting as his looks
His face and clothes. He'll go to Oxbridge to study PPE, and then he'll join Labour and become Prime Minister in about 30 or so years.
Wait, when was this? I was just by Bispham high school an hour ago
Don't know why, but he looks like a politician.
He's literally Tom Watson except 40 years younger. [img_thumb]http://i.telegraph.co.uk/multimedia/archive/02119/_Tom-Watson_2119447b.jpg[/img_thumb]
I agree.
Fixed.
and then a police officer
If theres one thing police officers love doing, its more paperwork
He probably did this whole protest in the expectation that his teachers would reward him for showing initiative for his education, and successfully being a massive cunt at the same time. And just ended up being expelled.
Really hope he becomes PM so we can look back on this thread in a few decades' time
Suddenly most hated kid in his school.
Tbh I always thought there should be very minimal homework, not because "learning is bad lets not do it" but because any work meant to be done in school... should be done in school, including homework. School would be more tolerable if when you got home you didn't have to realize "finally a day of school is over, now time to do more school work!". Even if it meant an extra year of school, it's not that much and it's worth it if the 12 other years were more enjoyable.
and then he's the only pupil to walk out and everyone points and laughs

If he did this at my old school, they probably would give us more homework. Then he would never be seen again after Gym Class.
There have been studies that show there is absolutely no significant increase in material retention due to homework. In fact some studies show that homework helps REDUCE retention of taught material.
he obvously isn't using his time right then... i must have read like a couple hundred books between the 6th grade and highschool then i got into doing tons of homework [editline]17th March 2014[/editline]
There have been studies that show there is absolutely no significant increase in material retention due to homework.
what kind of kid protests a lack of homework
A one of questionable ancestry
he'd probably have been killed if he tried that at my old school
Holy shit what the fuck how does this even work I wish It was like that in my schools too instead of baton beating
I'm still waiting for an answer on why your teachers would beat you with batons.
