tbh from the trailer the movie looks a bit shitty and cringey.
tbh from the trailer the movie looks a bit shitty and cringey.
Yeah i can't imagine it's going to use the R-rating for anything particularly eloquent, just ~mature~ bullshit for the sake of being ~mature~ and because some people will watch it just for that (re: the shitty "freddy kruger facefucking a topographical map" joke)
Odds are the petition will have little apparent effect. The R rated version will be the only version in theaters, but a toned down version will be available separately on video/on demand because of this. EDIT: Not factual, just how I see it. The commercials make it seem like something I'd dislike and also I thought Deadpool was a Dirty Harry movie(because I am like, nowhere when it comes to comics)?
This is one of the stupidest petitions i've ever seen. If they can't go see the movie due to it being Rated R then too bad, but the fact that someone made a petition just so some kid can go see the movie and have the movie dumbed down for all of everyone is ridiculous. Besides it's not like FOX is gonna see the petition and actually care anyways :v:
...Are you fucking kidding me?
oh for fucks shake there is plenty of PG - 13 comic book movies
Just what I was going to say. FUCK this.
Petition Launched for PG-13 Deadpool
Suck my dick, choke on it.
Even if it is R, They will probably to see it anyway. I mean it doesn't stop them from buying games that are above their age bracket, look at call of duty and battlefield.
I still wonder why people even bother with stupid petitions for shit like this
I think they responded.
I don't think that's an official account from the movie's marketing team.
something about the way this lady talks pisses me off
Maybe it's the condescending "I'm a mom so I know what's best for everyone" tone.
Maybe it's the condescending "I'm a mom so I know what's best for everyone" tone.
Every sentence that starts with "as a mother", is annoying and/or condescending as fuck. Instead of explaining to her child WHY he can't see it, she prefers to stir shit up online, asking the studios for a decaf version of the movie. Jesus fucking christ.
Lol a PG-13 version of Deadpool would be like 15 minutes long
Shit just wait for it to be on TV if mature content bothers you so much.. It'll be cut down there.
Shit just wait for it to be on TV if mature content bothers you so much.. It'll be cut down there.
No you don't understand her child is a precious flower and wrote a letter and needs to have his demands filled now.
Deadpool is for 13 and under year olds so i see why not.
From the person who created the petition: I hope the Deadpool team will put out a response video to this. Her points are extremely flimsy, and I could see them poking fun at it.
Imagine actually thinking this petition is a good idea instead of just having an adult accompany the kid to the movie like any sane person would do.
No you don't understand her child is a precious flower and wrote a letter and needs to have his demands filled now.
Parents like these need to go grow a spine. This is why more young kids have special snowflake syndrome.
Deadpool is for 13 and under year olds so i see why not.
It's not though, it's rated R (the comics)
It's not though, it's rated R (the comics)
thatsthejoke.wmv
