Why is this thread mostly about the use of a particular word, and not the amazing breakthrough on people who can't walk?
Because apparently the people are walking after being killed through electric shocks.
These guys will turn into the Fantastic Four.

This is really interesting. Like it says in the article this is impressive because on a trial of four people it has had a positive effect on all four of them. Personally I've never been too bothered by animal testing but a lot of the people opposed to it really seem to have been taken up in the wash of "They're killing hundreds of these defenceless animals oh no!" and the whole 'save the animals' fashion trend that has gone with it without considering things like this where we're really improving the quality of life for our fellow humans. Either way this could be an excellent jumping off point for a discussion on the ethics of animal testing in medicine. but who cares about that when there's lexical errors in the OP to critique, right?
As someone who's coursing physiology right now I have a massive scientific boner. Seriously though, this is pretty great. It would significantly reduce the negative impact that spinal chord injuries have on a person's life, once it's been thoroughly tested. Hooray for science!
