I had to work from home several days this week due to the plows not giving a damn about all the snow, insane road conditions
Damn, it's 43F here in Florida and I'm freezing my nuts off. Still much warmer than it was in Middle TN, though. That means It's about 90 degrees warmer here than there. Damn
Wind chill warnings issued for MN and blizzard warnings for the US part of the RRV: schools get cancelled, everyone panics Wind chill warnings issued for MB and blizzard warnings just south of Winnipeg: total snow day count still remains at 0, sucks to be you if your car doesn't start! Fuck Winnipeg, right guys? Meanwhile, in Wisconsin (on Monday):
If you wanked outside, would your load freeze or become steam before it hit the ground?

And people didn't believe me when I said it gets so cold here the water on your eyeballs freezes. This is going to be interesting, the expected high for Sunday is going to be -13

Looking at a low of -33 on sunday without windchill here in North Dakota
I can't even fathom these temperatures. We're bitching about 50 F in Mississippi.
I can't even fathom these temperatures. We're bitching about 50 F in Mississippi.
let's put it this way- refrigerators keep drinks at a relatively constant 35-40 degrees, just above freezing. I went outside the other week at -2 F, a can of pop I yoinked from the fridge on the way out was acting as a hand warmer as I started my car up and waited for it to be breathable I feel like this would be a fun experiment this weekend, god it'd be 65 degrees warmer than the air there comes a point where it doesn't feel like it gets colder, it just gets harder to breathe when the wind hits your face
Yet here in Finland its the warmest winter for years. And its been raining so much that few rivers has started to flood. And that is something we only see on spring here. Can you americans return our winter?
You can have ours, but only if you promise to share with Sweden.
Are you complaining about vancouver/west coast weather It's like 7c and sunny and has been for most of the winter
It's finally getting colder here in Florida.
-48C is impressive for somewhere relatively southern compared to me. -58C is the wind chill record for my town, and at that point you don't really notice it getting colder anyway. Good job Minnesota!
chicago has been pretty fuckin cold too. not to mention the fact it snowed like 2 feet
Must have taken all of Alberta's cold, was warm today (well, hovering around freezing) but uh.. you can keep it. Also never living in Winnipeg, jesus christ.
Weather is getting worse every year it seems like
chicago has been pretty fuckin cold too. not to mention the fact it snowed like 2 feet
northern suburbs got hit pretty bad too, like I mentioned earlier the plows did fuck-all from the 31st to late on the 2nd so everything was a thick packed layer of ice with twice as much slush on top, save for some windy spots like hill peaks driving anything over 25-30 pretty much ensured you'd get tossed around half the time, hitting a lump of slush was enough to wiggle you around hard so it was nerve wracking trying to stay in the trough dug out by others' wheels
wow pussies i live on pluto and it gets way colder here
And I am sitting on a toilet seat get on my level pussy
I live in good ole Chi-town. I've been alive for 18 years now. This is the first time I've experienced -50 THIS CAN'T BE TRUE. TELL THIS IS SOME CRUEL PHOTOSHOP.
Welcome to climate change motherfuckers, 10 years ago I'd be bitching about too much snow, and now it's a pleasant 4-6C outside here.
Meanwhile we are having one of the warmest winters in the last half a century, it's quite surreal walking around in January in weather that resembles autumn.
my high school is on christmas break still give me all the cold snowflakes
My school recently closed down because of bad winter weather. It was a fun situation where they only told you once you got there.
isn't like -40 the temp you have to start breathing through a snorkel to prevent your lungs from getting frostbite?
