The fact that Donald Trump has gotten this far tells us that something is very wrong with the mental state of many people in the US. This has gone from a dumb joke to a very real and threatening problem. We are very concerned. Regards, The Rest Of The World.
Or it tells us if the DNC is gonna shove a candidate down our throats, it better not be one that sucks
Or it tells us if the DNC is gonna shove a candidate down our throats, it better not be one that sucks
This one million times over. I lurk on forums that adhere to many different views. Mike Moore is correct. The Trump Vote is a fuck you vote. They want the system to burn because they feel they've been burned by the system and burned by those who run it. They see getting Trump elected as a way to accomplish this desire. The desire to destroy the broken, corrupt system and destroy the crooks that run it. The average Trumpeter wants revenge on those who have power in America. This is the sentiment fueling the rise of Trump. Its not bigotry driving these folks. Its a blind nihilistic rage.
So far we're doing pretty good but it's always an insanely close call at the polls. It's getting REALLY tiring watching everything get thrown into the dirt in the name of centuries-old traditions and ass-backwards bullshit which the rest of the civilized world (and states for that matter) has LONG moved away from.
Please re read my post above yours. Its not bigotry driving the majority of these folks. Its a nihilistic rage at those in power. Mike Moore is correct about Trump being the "fuck you vote".
I can't believe anyone seriously give a star for someone going Godwin Law on an argument over Trey Gowdy. But to answer this retarded comparison; Trey Gowdy ain't Hitler and historically hasn't brought his policies into congressional hearings as far as I have seen, which is what demonstrates to me he is lawyer capable litigating as Attorney General without fucking with things.
If you read my post very carefully, I never claimed Gowdy was anything like Hitler. I used Hitler to show that you took his argument, dressed it up, pissed on it, changed most of the words around and lit it on fire. Then you tried to make him sound ridiculous like that would have any relevancy at all. If I were a snarky bastard I'd probably add something like "That sounds like something Hitler would post" to the end of this, but I'm just gonna do like a Trump and say I'm not going to.
Can a Clinton supporter please outline to me what positives they see in a Clinton presidency without mentioning Trump?
An expansion of and hopefully fixing the ACA? A plan to do something about college student loan debt, making sure that more people have access to education? A president that accepts the science of climate change - one of the biggest long term problems in the world that we simply can't work on without the US? Protection of minority rights? There are loads of good policies in there, but of course it's hard not to mention the things the other party will make worse.
That's still a really really dangerous move driven by incredible stupidity. So the rough gist of my point still stands.
It is what is it. They feel it would be easier to burn it down and start anew. Until this corruption and corporate power in politics issues is taken care of, this sentiment will only grow. Alot of these folks are in kamikaze mode. As long they can get even on the system and the people who run it, thats all that matters. They don't care if they destroy themselves, friends, family, ect in the process. Just as long they can get their revenge. They feel the system has been changed to fuck them over for a profit and gain at their expense. This constant abuse has made these folks very sour. They tried fixing things with Obama. They tried fixing it with Sanders. Didn't work. Why save such a system? The entire process is perceived to be beyond repair. This is what is fueling Trump's rise. Forcing Hillary down people's throats has gotten people in a very black mood.
protests, people getting riled up over nothing, yelling in public, low quality indie garbage starbucks tier music, noise pollution, young people, nu-males, drunkenness, and hooliganism
You're literally an 83-year-old man screaming at those young hooligans for riding their newfangled bicycles down the boulevard. Doesn't surprise me you love Lubbock - it's perfect for people to curl up and die from an alcoholism-diabetes-STD combo without being disturbed by other people. Because nobody else wants to visit, because it's awful. There's problems with Austin. Metrosexual young college students drinking too much alcohol and being too loud isn't one of them - that's called "people having fun," but I understand that after shooting so many guns at prairie dogs you've gone a bit deaf and you confuse the tinnitus for the screeching liberal agenda being shouted from the rooftops by the gay nu-male drunkard protester hooligan young'n's.

As long they can get even on the system and the people who run it, thats all that masters. They don't care if they destroy themselves, friends, family, ect in the process. Just as long they can get their revenge. They feel this way because they feel the whole process has been designed or has been changed to fuck over the working class and this constant abuse has made these folks very sour. They tried fixing things with Obama. They tried fixing it with Sanders. Didn't work. Why save a system that doesnt give a shit about them or treats them like shit for gain and profit? This is what is fueling Trump's rise. Forcing Hillary down people's throats has gotten people in a very black mood.
I guess this is just a matter of opinion because it can't be proven, but here it is; The majority of people voting Trump aren't angry, they just don't understand or follow politics at all. They just hear a rough outline of what his policies are, listen to some interviews with him and think "Yeah, America DOES need to be great again. He says it'll be great again, I knew who he was before this election even started, so he must be everything he's cracked up to be." Because most people don't follow elections very well, they don't think about actual policies very much. They just hear some words and think they sound good. They don't think Trump is going to end the two party system or whatever, because if they knew politics enough to have a strong opinion on the electoral system they would know that electing him is very unlikely to do that. And it's not stupidity, it's laziness. Maybe I'm not giving people enough credit, but the vast majority of people I've spoken or listened to only barely know what the hell they're talking about, they just know the basics. This by and large can apply to most Hillary voters too, obviously, and I'm not trying to present this as a fact, just the way I see it.

Like seriously how is that even an argument.

Lubbock ain't perfect either. But since you're one of those retards who doesn't know how to use "literally" correctly I'm not particularly surprised. I just cashed out a bet on Clinton winning. I don't even want to think about this anymore. If Trump wins... seriously, fuck anyone that voted for him. This election has been divisive for a reason. Trump is a terrible candidate.
Love the smell of sour toxx clause in the morning But also getting pretty bad Royale-Sarkozy vibes from this whole ordeal.
Love the smell of sour toxx clause in the morning But also getting pretty bad Royale-Sarkozy vibes from this whole ordeal.
election isnt over yet dont count your chickens before they hatch
I'm voting for Trump. People like you keep making my choice better and better every day. :)
Why though? Seems childish to me.
Why though? Seems childish to me.
because fuck the system and make america great again they just want to see it all burn
because fuck the system and make america great again they just want to see it all burn
Do they really believe this themselves? Seems to me they'd be very disappointed.
Why though? Seems childish to me.
Because I like Trump. Seeing all the butthurt is just a nice side effect.
because fuck the system and make america great again they just want to see it all burn
Yea, because people can't POSSIBLY have different opinions that you. Those darn kooky conservatives!
But what can I expect from a BLM and Islamic terrorism apologist such as yourself.
Extremely rich coming from a person who defends torture as means of gaining information.
Do they really believe this themselves? Seems to me they'd be very disappointed.
Most of the Trump's support comes from the rural small town, where people have been getting fucked over constantly. Whether you agree with it or not, burning the system down is striking back at the big guy for them.
Do they really believe this themselves? Seems to me they'd be very disappointed.
they believe that trump is their messiah and his magical economic policies will somehow bring obsolete jobs back with said obsolete jobs paying them a good wage & benefits because magic. if trump does win and i dont believe he will, they'll be in a for a rude awakening when nothing changes for them except for a shitty job that pays poverty wages while paying more for products cause they don't realize they'll be paying the tariff as a consumer as every credible economist including trump's favorite #1 namedrop economist larry kudlow said. its easier to believe in oversimplified shit rather than complex issues. this is a result of being kids with no responsibilities under eight years of obama, they don't understand how terrible shit was during the last years of bush. its sad tbh lol, no matter whose president, i'll be fine but so many won't be including trump supporters themselves.
Do they really believe this themselves? Seems to me they'd be very disappointed.
Several of Trump's current supporters used to support Bernie, but got butthurt he didnt become the candidate and actually endorsed Clinton, who is seen as being a corrupt corporate shill, dishonest, and on top of all this, don't forget Benghazi. Honestly, they aren't wrong about the corporate shill part, so think of that as one valid reason for them to dislike her candidacy. The problem with supporting Trump is that he claims to be on the side of the working-class American, though I havent seen any evidence of his policies leading to anything other than destroying the standard of living they're currently enjoying, to say nothing of crippling national debt, loss of health insurance, the destruction of the DoE and DoJ, and too many more to mention. Donald Trump is a plutocrat of the plutocrats who looks out for Donald Trump first and others like him second, and damn anybody else. It also helps that any evidence put forward about how bad a president he'll make is immediately dismissed because Clinton's somehow worse or is binned as being a liberal lie twisted to suit their own narratives.
Yes. The scary part isn't Trump himself, it's the sheer amount of support he's gotten. He has at multiple points had the support (or nearly) to become president of one of the most powerful countries in the world while holding views which, let's be honest, is basically borderline fascism in some respects. A substantial chunk of the American population still has some serious growing up to do. I applaud the friendlier parts of the US which see reason and want to move the fuck on and actually get the wheels rolling to making a better and happier country The entire international community (excluding Trump's buttbuddy Putin) is shitting itself because of the potential damage to the US and to the rest of the world would be catastrophic if Trump is elected. Thing is too, this happens every fucking election. Every election we all sit on the edge of our seats nearly shitting ourselves as we once again put faith in the American people to pick someone who isn't a fucking utter bumbling moron capable of incredible damage to world stability. So far we're doing pretty good but it's always an insanely close call at the polls. It's getting REALLY tiring watching everything get thrown into the dirt in the name of centuries-old traditions and ass-backwards bullshit which the rest of the civilized world (and states for that matter) has LONG moved away from.
Perhaps more a clear signal the political elete need to get their shit together and be proper politicians and be taken serious again. The biggest joke is not trump, its that the DNC propped up a candidate that is arguably just as bad in the public eye. this could have been the easiest election since forever, the republican candidate de-clawed on a silver platter...
Because I like Trump. Seeing all the butthurt is just a nice side effect. Yea, because people can't POSSIBLY have different opinions that you. Those darn kooky conservatives!
Enjoying seeing people being butthurt doesn't seem a tad immature to you?
Yeah that's just very immature. It's nice watching incredibly pretentious people get incredibly upset at the thought that SOMEONE MIGHT HAVE A DIFFERENT OPINION. Seriously, you're all talking theoretically about how stupid and ignorant Trump supporters are. Yet here I am, an actual Trump supporter replying to you people, but instead all 5 or 6 of you are just fluffing each other of in your little hug box. The lack of self awareness here is unreal.
Remember Democrats! The media said Leave was going to lose. The polls said Leave was going to lose. The majority of the politicians thought leave was going to lose. DONT ASSUME THAT TRUMP WILL LOSE.
