Uhh, what? Just because it's not my thing, and I don't personally like it doesn't mean I should be guilty about anything. They can do what they want, I would never try to interfere, that's my entire point.
yeah but it's not primal, it's your problem. when people say primal they try to paint it as some kind of naturalistic thing that they can't help.
I think if there's nothing medically preventing the baby coming out normally there shouldn't be a problem.
Also quick admission: Transgenderness REALLY freaks me out. It's one of those things that I have to try super hard not to be a raging bigot about. There's some primal part of me that makes my stomach curl when I think that someone could have been a different gender before. It's not the people that creep me out it's the idea. I dunno.
The second bad thing I have seen come out of Sweden since "Girl With The Dragon Tattoo"
Wow, for once a Scandinavian country has worse human rights than the United States. I feel proud of my country.
Don't worrry Swedes, if you want acceptance you can just come to America!
Oh...right.

There are a lot of things I don't like. Trashy tattoos, cigarettes, abortions, shit like that, but who am I to tell peeople they can not do it?
Just because I dont like this personally does not mean I'd ever act to stop it.
Doesn't this only apply to those undergoing hormonal treatment you know so there is a VALID MEDICAL REASON for this to be a law.

Hopefully the Christian Democrats will be out of parliment by the next election, the only people voting on them are conservative christians, who are almost extinct in Sweden.

Giggity.
As an American, the concept of a "Christian Democrat" is utterly baffling to me.
you have to think of the baby and not the parents. some serious problems could occur due to the unnatural hormone levels.

The whole idea of replacing genitals and shit makes me feel a bit physically ill is what I meant. Not the transsexual people.
So, after reading the comments, Sweden is doing good because it does actually do something? Or am I in the wrong? If so, please reply.

No. It refers to legally changing sex.
What this law means, in practice, is that you would need to get sterilized for even changing the sex stated on your drivers license or ID card.
