My eyelids were removed as a child. :saddowns:
I started blinking manually as soon as I read the title.
You are now aware that you can't see the underside of your knees.
holy shit i found a mole
This makes sense, cause some days, I can keep my eyes open for a LOOOOONG time, and others I can't keep open for more than a few seconds.
:psyboom:
You are now aware that you can't see the underside of your knees.
Pssh. I can.
Fuck manual blinking.
Unless you rotate your leg and head slightly.
That's not the knee.
you are now blinking manually
son of a bitch
you are now blinking manually
Fuck you
This would explain why I almost always only blink to the beat when I'm playing drums.
Why we blink still has the same answer. It's just the patterns at which we blink that they figured out.
We blink because our eyes are dry.
This is really interesting! There's all sorts of behavioural quirks that are so fascinating; I'd love to know more.
:byodood:
The Final Countdown is playing in your head.
Thanks for the thread, now I blink naturally.
Your heart is now beating manually. [editline]12:56PM[/editline] This makes sense. From studying animation for a while, you come to realize that people blink to emphasize actions and such. For instance, almost every time someone turns their head, they blink. I'm not sure if that's for the same reason as this, but it definitely happens like clockwork, and it's something that few people notice.
You are now walking manually, awayyy from the computer screen. [editline]08:25PM[/editline] THIS is why we shouldn't blink!
For example, the higher the amount of spontaneous blinking you do, the higher the amount of dopamine you produce in the striatum, a deep brain area.
if i blink tons will i be able to see in slow mo? :downs:

Your tongue is in your mouth.
you are now blinking manually

We know that blinking is also tied to some quite fundamental functions of the brain. For example, the higher the amount of spontaneous blinking you do, the higher the amount of dopamine you produce in the striatum, a deep brain area.
So THAT'S why blinking loads keeps you awake when you're really tired
Someone was already a real idiot with the same kind of thing in this thread.
No, I didn't say anything about Slow motion vision.
If I ever meet you I'll make you eat your own optic nerves I need to relax to automatize again
:frown:
No, I didn't say anything about Slow motion vision.
Ignoring the wording of the "the more spontaneous blinking," part is the common factor here.
This is really interesting! There's all sorts of behavioural quirks that are so fascinating; I'd love to know more. The Final Countdown is playing in your head.
Fuck. You. I had it in my head ALL day. Trying to do parabolas with that is IMPOSSIBLE.
Damn, I just realized I blinked to the beat of Anarchy in the U.K.
So maybe blinking is like a .? When we finish a sentence we often blink to mark that the sentence is over.
You are now breathing manually. But seriously, I was thinking about JUST THIS yesterday, I had noticed that I sometimes don't blink at all while I blink often at other times.

you are now blinking manually
:( Also, I only blinked near the start and end of reading this topic
