Those hats are outrageous large for their heads.
Dude we're America come at me.
America, FUCK YEAR!!!! (dont judge me. Im Canadia)
What are you guys scared about? NK can't do shit. I even have a nice fancy map
i'm no missile engineer or physicist, but that map seems...off. they wouldn't be able to launch missiles as easily to the east because the earth rotates west-east, right? if they launch east then the earth is rotating in their direction under them so the effective range drops. they should get a boost shooting towards the west since the earth would be rotating under a missile in the opposite direction. their range shouldn't be a circle, it should be one of these turned 90º: shouldn't it?
Obivously an intentional propaganda "leak". I seriously doubt they can actually hit any of those targets.
god damnit scout1 don't rate me dumb, if you know how missile ranges work then please elaborate because i am genuinely interested
Is it me, or do a lot of the U.S citizens on this board think they are invincible?
why wouldn't we? we're on a separate landmass from the rest of the world.

Watch. We're all making fun of them now, but all us Americans are going to wake up one morning to our homes being blown up. And then we'll turn the tv off and keep laughing at them.

The precise derived data actually maintains a perfect circle to simulate a "worse case scenario" if one of their TBMs were to be launched. If all derived TBM data were to be put on a map it would look a lot like the shape of a sunny side up egg.
What are you guys scared about? NK can't do shit. I even have a nice fancy map
Type-o-dong. Teehee.
god damnit scout1 don't rate me dumb, if you know how missile ranges work then please elaborate because i am genuinely interested
The rotation of the earth is completely irrelevant when the launcher and target are on the earth At the time of launch let's say the earth is rotating westward at whatever arbitrary speed. So is the target. And so is the missile. It has to expend energy to "speed up" and travel to the target. The same thing would happen if the Earth was completely static and neither the target nor the launcher are moving.
To honest the only thing I fear from North Korea is they fuck up and nuke Canada because knowing their missiles it's liable to happen
To honest the only thing I fear from North Korea is they fuck up and nuke Canada because knowing their missiles it's liable to happen
You think they're going to miss the united states and somehow hit a populated Canadian city? So they miss one target and hit another (relatively) small target a ways away from the original target?
Why are they aiming for HAWAII?! [editline]30th March 2013[/editline] Don't you DARE blow up Stitch! People are honestly rating this dumb...? Do you not realize it was a joke or something...?
someone please make a propogandic video on how everyone destroys NK
Is it me, or do a lot of the U.S citizens on this board think they are invincible?
It's not that we're invincible, it's just damn near improbable for anyone to invade the Continental US even the US itself could not keep of with the Logistics of this kind of operation it's just not possible.
Does Alaska count as mainland USA?
Technically yes. But go ask the Japanese how that one went. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aleutian_Islands_Campaign
Oh great they have the ability to hit us though nobody really gives a fuck about NT because its just practically nothing
Homefront 2 viral marketing
Oh great they have the ability to hit us though nobody really gives a fuck about NT because its just practically nothing
They could throw in some radioactive material.
Blatant exhibition or otherwise, I really hope you guys have your missile defense in order :(

Yes, the rocket has "momentum" to fly westwards, but the westwards target is sorta "running away" from it, the eastwards one "getting closer" to it. It evens out. Launching to west or east only depends when you want to establish an orbit which will be independent on the surface.

The Coriolis effect is NOT negligable when calculating the trajectory of a ballistic missle. Try opening a physics textbook sometime.
What the fuck are you talking about? The Coriolis effect is NOT negligable when calculating the trajectory of a ballistic missle. Try opening a physics textbook sometime.
Coriolis effect affects how would it act going northwards and southwards, tho.
Ummm, I doubt that HALO divers or even that one Red Bull dude that jumped from space would have to worry about the fact that the target is zipping away underneath them.
Usually I hate Scout's shit
What
Coriolis effect affects how would it act going northwards and southwards, tho.
He said that the rotation of the Earth was irrelevant, which isnt true. And technically it effects anything not going perfectly east or west soo
