I wonder what would happen if you strapped a generator to a soldier wearing one of these
His position would probably be given away by the loud humming.
wow, great post.
I believe that was Japan's tank, the brand new Type 10: -image snip-
All it needs is some gold rims, and some purple/white tribal flames painted on it, and it's ready for the 'hood.
It's still dumb.
Ironic how the rapist is butthurt.
Hmmm... It can carry 90kg over 20km. Slap on some heavy armour and we have a mobile power armour.
Ironic how the rapist is butthurt.
Nobody is butthurt but you. Care to explain the joke?
I like how the first thing referenced wasn't iron man this robot thing looks hella useful though
I like how the "suit" is a powered leg support that lets soldiers carry more weight not at all meant for protection however nobody realizes that because they don't read the damn article before posting.
look at what he quoted, it says "portable device" handheld portal device
Haha, oh wow that was unfunny.
I like how the "suit" is a powered leg support that lets soldiers carry more weight not at all meant for protection however nobody realizes that because they don't read the damn article before posting.
Carry more weight -> carry more armor.
just some more steps till nanosuits and about that image of that game armor it looks heavy for me and usa wouldnt be that stupid to use that, if they used armor they used something like an nanosuit.
That is not power armour. This is.
Carry more weight -> carry more armor.
And by armor you mean ammo.
No I mean armor and if you weren't dyslexic you'd understand.
look at what he quoted, it says "portable device" handheld portal device
You're the one that's thinking with portals, and not in the good way.
And by armor you mean ammo.
Armor and other protection is fucking heavy, which is why soldiers don't wear much of it. If you have something that can nullify the weight of the armor, you can wear more protection or mount armor directly onto the exoskeleton. You can carry more ammo as well, but it's not like you need to carry around 800 bullets for your gun.
I wonder if this'll allow handheld miniguns. (I know it's incredibly impractical, but it's still badass)
how about they build machines that stop war from ever happening
how about they build machines that stop war from ever happening
Nice idea, but not possible to implement.
how about they build machines that stop war from ever happening
And how would those work? Messing with the human mind to prevent aggression would not go over well if it screwed up. And any kind of autonomous policing force would be even worse.
how about a machine that straps people in a chair until they sort out their differences kind of like a time-out but for manchildren
how about a machine that strips people in a chair until they sort out their differences kind of like a time-out but for manchildren
and who would control it?

how about a machine that strips people in a chair until they sort out their differences kind of like a time-out but for manchildren
We have those, they're called ropes. The problem is kidnapping world leaders.
aw shucks
how about they build machines that stop war from ever happening
They did. No two nuclear armed countries can realistically declare war on each other.
how about they build machines that stop war from ever happening
I was going to say nuclear weapons, but GunFox beat me to it.
Peace through MAD?
Peace through MAD?
A lack of war anyways. We will continue to fight small proxy conflicts (And unrelated small conflicts, of course) until mutual trade leads to mutual respect. Or large scale space travel becomes viable. Whichever comes first.
how about they build machines that stop war from ever happening
Instead of a country's military from fighting, we force the world leaders to duke it out in the boxing ring. No expense in buying ammo, fuel, or building materials only for renting out the arena, having shitloads of beer and food and broadcast that shit on pay-per view. I bet people would LOVE to watch that shit.
