meh, I disagree. Sometimes some people are just too terrible that they deserve it.
And that's what we have facts for. Like, for instance, if you want to know you have the right person, you'll have to carry out a great big investigation about it. Obviously, having people search as far as their power goes for relatively rare things like video of the incident is going to need a lot of time and/or money to keep going. And, even once you have such evidence, there may still be a creeping doubt and you may never know if what you did was right.
I call this moral conflict and expenditure of resources "unnecessary".
How is there such a thing as "aggravated child abuse"? Does that reduce the sentence at all? Because a child being a child should not reduce punishment.
Aggravated in this sense is some dumb legal term. Alright. I slap you in the face. No harm is done. I get charged with assault.
However, I slap you in the face, causing injury... That's aggravated assault.
Basically just means it's a special type of assault that:
1: Caused injury
2: Was on a cop.
3: Was done to resist arrest
4: Was part of a robbery, e.g., mugging someone.
5: Was racially, religiously, or otherwise discriminatorially motivated, i.e., a hate crime.
6: Was sexual in nature.
There are other things, but these are the main ones that come to mind.
This will be one of those cases of violence caused by video games.
~sigh
Maybe its best the poor kid died young, this ass would be a shitty parent.

What good could possibly come from shaking a 3-weeks year old baby? People should undergo psych tests to see if they are fit to raise kids.

I would be in favor of a law requiring your doctor to sign off on letting you become pregnant.
You know, so we don't infect the gene pool with idiots.
I could make an awful joke about the Kinect but I'm going to take the high road.
Sad story.
I shook my puppy once when I was a kid, and I didn't know better. The difference is that my puppy is fine, I was 7, his kid isn't, and he's 20. I still feel bad for my dog everyday, although it didn't seem to do anything to him (he's completely fine to this day), but losing your kid over the Xbox? That's fucked up.
how the fuck do people see the logic in shaking babies
HOW
improve the education system in your country for gods sake nobody should have to do this

I think people have done it in every country, you're comment is pretty biased.

Yeah because it's only our country that does it right?
Shaking a baby doesn't seem like the kind of thing that would kill it. I'm not trying to play devils advocate but shaking a baby would feel like the only thing a frustrated person can do when they're honestly not trying to hurt it. To be honest, I didn't find out until a few months ago that shaking a baby would kill it. Another thing, how hard does a baby have to be shaken for it to be killed? Is it a little shake or is it a very hard shake?
guys clearly the culprit here are violent video games
no the culprit is florida, i swear i live here!
