• Tax The Poor: Forget Occupy Wall Street, Conservatives Have A Different Idea

Okay, so you guys know how we have a bunch of poor people, right? Well if we tax them all, it'll be enough to pay the budget. The more people paying taxes = the better the economy.
Just because the majority of people would like to steal money from those who have more does not make it justified.
I fail to see how paying taxes is stealing. Then again, I'm a decent person.
Just because the majority of people would like to steal money from those who have more does not make it justified.
How the fuck is preventing the Rebublicans from taxing the middle and lower class into oblivion and wanting to make the rich pay their fair fucking share the "majority of people would like to steal money from those who have more"? Are you fucking serious?
Umm... no?
Compelling argument. I completely agree with you on all points.
Looking back in history we see the royal families of France stacking up loads o' money and luxury while ''their people'' starved in the streets. How does this historical event end, you might ask? Most of the royal family got their heads guillotine'd.
Why are you asking me you know the feeling much better than I do
What is this? Grade school? "I know you are but what am I!" Fact is you DON'T know anything about the situation. You're just spouting the same dribble that the likes of Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh produce.
I fail to see how paying taxes is stealing. Then again, I'm a decent person.
Nice moral high ground you took there. Glad to see you can con people into your side with guilt and at the same time ridicule your opponent.
Actually the goal SHOULD be to lower that number, but not by taxing the poor. Instead it should be lowered by ensuring that there are less poor people.
Well, the goal should be to eliminate poverty, and if everyone can afford paying taxes the number should actually be higher.
Why not tax the people who are struggling to make ends meet and give tax breaks to people who don't need them. edit: This article was already posted in my other thread.
I'm not saying the should pay more. I'm saying they should pay the same. People shouldn't be punished for success.
Except when the success is from manipulating and flat out screwing over those who actually need help.
I'm not saying the should pay more. I'm saying they should pay the same. People shouldn't be punished for success.
A person that has a million dollars in income per years is going to be hurt far less then a person making under 30k.
I'm not saying the should pay more. I'm saying they should pay the same. People shouldn't be punished for success.
The people on wall street did not succeed in anything other than buying insurance on mortgages which should have never been made in the first place, then got the government to bail out the insurance companies when they had to shell out billions to the investment banks. They aren't really business men in the sense that they ran a successful pizza joint. They could not succeed without our failure.
A person that has a million dollars in income per years is going to be hurt far less then a person making under 30k.
Again, you're punishing people for success by increasing taxes on the "rich" (which is a bunch of BS, $250,000 isn't rich and they are paying enough taxes already)
If these people become a dominant power, revolution will be imminent.

Successful business, and if you didn't see it coming that's your fault [editline]31st October 2011[/editline]
If these people become a dominant power, revolution will be imminent.
Yeah right. The only people with the political energy to rebel is the right wing. The left is too moderate to do anything
They conned you out of your money. Successful business, and if you didn't see it coming that's your fault
You're obviously a troll now. How were we suppose to stop them. The only way to stop them would be to put a bullet in their brain. The law is on their side.
They conned you out of your money. Successful business, and if you didn't see it coming that's your fault
Actually, conning someone out of their money is a crime. Its like insurance scams and such.
You're obviously a troll now. How were we suppose to stop them. The only way to stop them would be to put a bullet in their brain. The law is on their side.
Its not hard to analyze economic trends
Actually, conning someone out of their money is a crime. Its like insurance scams and such.
Okay let me put this anothe way. You payed them. It's your fault
That is the most fucking inhumane, Darwinian thing I have ever heard anyone say. Are you saying that if you're stupid enough to fall for someones tricks, it's your own damn fault? So, if a pensioner falls for a mans scam, they deserve to lose every penny they have? Are you fucking heartless?
Again, you're punishing people for success by increasing taxes on the "rich" (which is a bunch of BS, $250,000 isn't rich and they are paying enough taxes already)
Um...I never said anything about 250k. You said that people should pay a flat tax and I responded by saying that it wouldn't effect a millionaire as much as it would a blue collar worker. If a person had to pay a flat tax of 10 %, they would still have 900k after taxes. That's hardly punishing.
It's not a scam. It was completely legal business
Okay let me put this anothe way. You payed them. It's your fault
They decide to live in this country, con people, and pay themselves drastically more than the people working below them. It's their fault they have to pay more taxes. Oh shit what now
Wait, wait, WAIT. YOU'RE saying that the Government is punishing people who have earned money by taxing them, but you think that it's alright to scam someone because it's the victims own fucking fault? You're contradicting your own point with something far more cruel than taxes, and you expect us to take you seriously?
Okay let me put this anothe way. You payed them. It's your fault
Actually, we were sold false dreams. Yeah it's partially the poor's fault for not being able to see the failure of adjustable rate mortgages, but ultimately it was a scam that cost the american people as a whole trillions of dollars. The only way this will be resolved is through continued violence and bloodshed. Thousands will die before this is over.
It's not a scam. It was completely legal business
This shit is getting dumber by each post.
Um...I never said anything about 250k. And 250k is the democrat's number for "rich"
Damn-fucking-straight it's a scam.
