awesome, when your credentials matter to this issue, I'll come talk to you.
I love how you run around the thread yelling out a generalization against US marines, claiming that they murder people, and then when someone calls you out on it, you fall back to using the word "killing" and pretend that that's what you were arguing in the first place.
I like this, are you implying soldiers don't murder people?
This is what you are really trying to argue. I mean for fuck's sake if you're trying to argue something at least keep it consistent so that we can all remember what we were arguing about in the first place. All this does is make you look like you're bad at the whole "convincing others that you're right and they're wrong" thing by resorting to bad technique like this. [editline]13:37[/editline]
awesome, when your credentials matter to this issue, I'll come talk to you.
So let me get this straight. He specializes military psychiatric care and his credentials don't matter in an argument about what a military serviceman did while most likely mentally disturbed by what he saw on his tour of duty. uh ok sure that makes perfect sense why didnt you just say so in the beginning
I don't think anyone in this thread was talking about terminology between murder and killing.
As are the people you soldiers murder. But you don't care about them, do you?

Normal people who joke, cry and also murder other human beings for some bullshit cause - you forgot that little titbit.

I like this, are you implying soldiers don't kill people?
I don't care if it hasn't been brought up before I'm bringing it up now. If you're going to claim that, say, Bob did X, at least stay consistent throughout the argument that Bob did X, and don't change X to Y in the middle of the argument. Murdering and killing are two very different things. Armies kill each other Criminals murder mmkay?

Though he is in the millitary, he went and did this terrible thing and murdered 16 people. He's a criminal and he murdered.

I wonder what drove him to up and do this?
some consider the war in afghanistan illegal, doesn't that make all the soldiers criminals???
I think of it more like manslaughter. Or, if you want to get really symbolic, blaming the car for a hit-and-run. I mean, you can't exactly blame people for joining the army. As far as I'm aware, you're told where you're deploying, and that's basically the end of it. The people who can be blamed are the ones who launched the war in Afghanistan in the first place. The soldiers certainly didn't do it.
some consider the war in afghanistan illegal, doesn't that make all the soldiers criminals???
Now this involves a big political discussion that I have no intention to partake in. The way I see it it isn't illegal until Afghanistan says GTFO to the US. Although, just because someone thinks that it is illegal that doesn't make all of the soldiers criminals. Perhaps to that person, but not to everybody else. [editline]14th March 2012[/editline] Now whether or not we SHOULD be there is another point of discussion altogether.

Whole lot of criminals. [editline]14th March 2012[/editline]
I think of it more like manslaughter. Or, if you want to get really symbolic, blaming the car for a hit-and-run.
Actually, a car in a hit-and-run is refereed to as a weapon. That's why 'assault with a deadly weapon' includes cars.
I mean, you can't exactly blame people for joining the army.
