I'm almost 100% sure a bundle for Wii U with New Super Mario Bros U was released prior to the last holiday season.
That isn't the basic bundle though. It's an alternative version of the deluxe bundle. Here are all the bundles currently out in the wild: Skylanders 8GB Bundle Nintendo Land 32GB Deluxe Bundle Mario and Luigi 32GB Deluxe Bundle Wind Waker HD 32GB Special Edition Bundle Zombi U 32GB Deluxe Bundle
Let's see if Nintendo can make a comeback on their next console (if that happens), similar how Sega did with their Dreamcast.
You're kidding, right?
I'd hardly call the dreamcast a "comeback"
The "Family Premium Set" is being discontinued, not the whole console itself. OP should edit his post to include this.
Plus that set is only availbe in Japan iirc.
With all due respect, what's the matter of that? I was just making a suggestion.
The Dreamcast was a good console IMO, but it was anything but a comeback for Sega.
With all due respect, what's the matter of that? I was just making a suggestion.
Don't get me wrong the dreamcast was an amazing system It just fell harder than a ship made of concrete.
I'm not saying Smash Bros will bring the Wii U back up to par, but I know time will. It takes time to make video games yo.
I wouldn't be surprised if they abandon it, i seriously don't know ANYONE that bought one/plan to buy one/want one..
I bought a Wii U and love it. Seriously, no regrets. Wonderful 101 was the best game of last year. Pikmin 3's great, Super Mario 3D World's super fun, I enjoyed going back to Wind Waker, the gamepad's surprisingly nice, and we have Bayonetta 2 and Smash around the corner.
I'm not sure you dinks mentioning the virtual boy understand that its sales and reason for discontinuing was a direct result of their nerve damaging feature. A terrible product of the 90's got put down and it has zero bearing on how the current situation is panning out
