it doesnt matter because spiderman was cancelled
I have to admit, i still have some respect for the guy. Even he admits the fanbase is fucking crazy.
whoa whoa whoa whoa you did not just call tobey maguire a faggot fuck you, faggot
You got a little man crush?
This would appeal to the other side of the market that Spiderman doesn't usually appeal to. But I'm sure it would keep away probably the side it usually targets.
I would have no problem with RPattz playing Spider-Man as such just that a ton of Twilight fangirls would probably go and see the movie just because he was in it, and then bitch and moan because "DEY CUVVURD UP HIS PWITTY FAIC WID DAT UGLEH MASK!!!!"
oh my sweet spider man, shoot your white web all over my face!
Hes a good actor, you guys just jizz yourself with rage whenever you hear of anything having to do with twilight
Edward, web me! Said the Twilight fan.
Edward, web me!
:smug: [editline]fish[/editline] In my opinion, Pattinson doesn't really look like he'd fit the role of Spiderman, though.
Spider-Man needs to be nerdy and awkward, but not Michael Cera awkward.
And nothing of value was lost.
yet again companies cannot see they're own stupidity due to lots of money clouding theyre judgment, all the current people considered are just awful why cant they let a good franchise just end, spiderman 3 was bad but at least the franchise would end with a good actor playing spiderman/peter parker and a good director. also cure world stupidity, burn all twilight fans!
Robert Pattinson may be affiliated with the Twilight series... but he's actually pretty talented... Not the best fit for Peter Parker, I'd definitely like to see him more often though.
Yes, but when we see his face it reminds us of Twilight which reminds us of suicide.

Both decent looking?
Toby reminds me of an annoying dork every time I see him. Thus, I propose Christopher Mintz-Plasse (The dude who played McLovin') should be the new Spider-Man.
Both prats? Both decent looking?
You shot and missed, son.
So it's a spider-vampire who is also non-heterosexual.
Funfact, my dad is friends with the bleached-hair guy in spiderman one who killed peter's dad and stole the wrestling monies. Carry on.
Eh, I'm not too bothered. The dude actually really hates Twilight and only did it for the money so it'll be great to see him in a movie that isn't a total mess.
It could be good.
Well at least now he'll be acting in decent movies.
Say it aint so. :colbert:

If you dont think it would be a good choice, imagine a spiderman quip in his voice, and have your mind blown all over your stupid fucking face. downside: couldn't make it gritty or any of that shit, but who cares. FUCKIN' MCLOVIN
This just in: Jack Nicholson to play Spiderman in Spiderman 4 and Morgan Freeman to play Spiderman in Spiderman 5.
To be honest I think he'll do well. You can't judge anything unless you've seen him take up the role really. It's like what everyone's been saying about Matt Smith replacing David Tennant in Doctor Who, they all hated him and now think he suits it now they've seen him in the role.
Don't even act like you guys wouldn't play roles in the Twilight series with the kinda dough that guy is making.
I have a friend who was approached for a role but turned it down simply because he can't stand twilight.
