Fox News might as well be live church service.
This person is completely fucking insane.
Hey it's good comedy for sane people
Until you realise that these people do have an impact on the justice system and how it is perceived by the public at large.
So they don't care about any of the rights in the Constitution except the 2nd one? Fucking racist, xenophobic, hypocritical bastards.
Obligatory

John Stewart has got to be one of the greatest Americans of our age.
I get the feeling people like this won't be happy until they make lynching muslims legal

"Not all muslims are terrorists, but ALL TERRORISTS ARE MUSLIM!"
A quote from my Facebook feed.
Didn't Jon Stewart do a piece about this a few days ago about the shredding of the constitution and inconsitency by Fox News?
He has a right to a fair and swift trial. It's in there.

Oddly enough, that seems par for the course for Ann Coulter. That woman scares me.
this seems like the point where Fox stops being funny and veers off into being legitimately scary
This is one of the farthest-right rants I've seen come out of them in awhile, and it's full of telling language. The constant use of Jihadis and the attacks on immigrants in general seems purposefully used to fill people with fear and anger, a dangerous combination. Then the irony of complaining about her civil rights being attacked while at the same time arguing for stripping the citizenship and all rights from an American citizen, setting up the notion that as long as you look American and talk American and are an anchor (propagandist mouthpiece) on an American news channel, but not these immigrant jihadis sucking the fat of the land. It's not just legitimately scary, it's legitimately and incredibly dangerous. Fox News plays with fire when they run these kinds of monologues.
Additionally, man this woman hates America. In her patriotic zeal she is happy to note "freedom" as something you get when you come to America and how great a place it is but then she wants it to appear to the outside world like a sort of military-run prison processing facility where rights are arbitrarily given and taken away because of nationality, skin color, or acquaintances. The Obama administration and any other authorities involved aren't "protecting" the surviving brother because they want to put on a show for other countries, and they aren't defending his hideously violent crimes. They are proving that this is the United States and we aren't hypocrites. He won't be tried as an enemy combatant, and he won't be tried by a military tribunal in that international embarrassment called Guantanamo. He will be tried by a civilian court where evidence will be provided and a jury will hear his case. And then if he is found guilty he will spend the rest of his life in a maximum security prison or, more likely, killed by the state which is what you want anyway.
That woman makes me physically ill to listen to.

what a dumb bicth
Well it's slightly more sane than what my mother suggests they do, which is to torture him to obtain information and then publicly execute him
So there's that
Just because you don't agree with her idea on how the country works doesn't make her ignorant. I promise even is she's a shitty fake judge or newscaster or whatever, she still knows more than you about whats going on in the world. She just sees it differently.
She isn't qualified to judge a pie eating contest.
Nothing new here, Fox News was head cheerleader for the Patriot Act and the Bush administration's torture practices.

Well for the Patriot Act's introduction there wasn't a whole lot of opposition from either party. If I remember correctly there was almost no dissent from either party and none of the major news outlets.
So, I guess they've taken three new suspects into custody...
Boston Police Dept. ‏@Boston_Police 9m
Three additional suspects taken into custody in Marathon bombing case. Details to follow.
Sadly, what little opposition Congress had to offer was shouted down by Bush's "You're with us or you're with the terrorists!" bullshit. But Fox continued to defend torture and the Patriot Act long after everyone else came to their senses and figured out how terrible they were.
Cheerleading for the Patriot act, and telling everyone that Obamacare will euthenize Grandma. Fair and balanced journalism at it's best.
my own parents who think that we shouldn't let anyone into the country at all.
You mean like Facepunch?
Why is Ann Coulter even relevant? I don't see why she is even on T.V. she's obviously a retard.

Oh definitely not denying that, just asking for a bit of clarification.
Its kind of funny. I used to watch Fox News all the time when I was younger but then I saw Anne Coulter give one of her trademark rants one day and I realized at that moment how much time I had wasted and how much of a fool I had been. Even though my parents are fairly conservative, they were still glad that I stopped putting much stock into that outlet.

Because she is a lightning rod for criticism or admiration (I can not for the life of me understand why someone would admire her) and it brings in views.

Is this woman for real
Is America for real when this woman is a public figure with millions of people actually believing her bullshit
Sadly, what little opposition Congress had to offer was shouted down by Bush's "You're with us or you're with the terrorists!" bullshit.
That is crazy revisionism right here. There was literally no Congressional opposition to the bill until after it was already passed, and the bill was widely supported by both prominent Democrats and Republicans.
Only one congressman voted against the Act. It wasn't until months later that Congress started questioning the bill.

Unfortunately, yes to both questions.
