I hope he'll be alright.
Legally that is what they did. There isn't anything saying "if you write a book that puts your life in danger your name has to be protected".
As well age and city he resides in. You must have a severe logic-overriding bias if it prevents you grasping the veracity of the situation.
not going to argue - too dense
I don't see how I am being dense. You are not getting my point. The guy choose to write this book as a civilian, entirely separate of the government. There is nothing, as far that I am aware of, saying it is treason to release the name of someone who independently wrote a book about government operations. I never said it was a smart or right thing to do, but its not treason.
Please do tell where I am being dense at.

Once again, I never said it was a smart or the right thing to do. I only stated that there is nothing that protects the name of an author who writes an independent book , regardless of what they are about. Apparently W0w00t can not grasp this.
Oh my fucking god you just are not getting it are you
No, I'm not. He wrote that book independently, as a civilian. The government was not involved in the writing or publishing of the book. The book is about government operations, but the writing and publishing of the book is not in any way affiliated with the government. I really don't understand where I am being so outrageous at.

Hey Fox, did you forget that this guy LED A MISSION TO KILL OSAMA BIN LADEN?
Since Fox News is full of mostly conservative Christians, they should be familiar with this.

I hope God lets Roger Ailes bring a bib to the afterlife.

Just stop.
They released the name of a man who killed the head of a highly feared organization of terrorists.
You seem to forget these people are fucking crazy enough to hijack planes to kill Hundreds/Thousands of Americans - now imagine the Hell that would come down on the man who killed their leader. He put his name as a Pen Name only for them to release his real name, giving them all a place to scour and search.
Again, stop. If you don't get it after all this, you never will.
Do we actually have so little faith in terrorist information networks that we believe this is the first time they've heard this name?

What did you just say that conflicted with what I said? I'm not sure what I am not getting here. It was very stupid and irresponsible thing to do. But its not treason.
What if this is a clever ruse from fox to lure al Qaeda?
clever ruse from fox
lol
How did they get his name, I thought he was using a pseudonym?
How can Fox news get a special forces operatives name when most of their facts are pulled from their ass?
This idiotic post got 48 agrees. Why might you ask? Because fox news is bad, so anything that is anti fox news is right.
It was a genuine question that alludes to the idea that they did the same thing as Wikileaks, who Fox News branded traitors to the US. It would've been easier to just say ''no, it isn't treason''.
Somebodies life and family has just been put into government protection, their identity erased, and their family given new identities and residence.
[s]Fuck[/s] Fox News.

I did just say it wasn't treason. Apparently I was being outrageous. It also was a bit different than wikileaks.
