I guess it's kind of ironic that opposers of the 'Ground Zero' Mosque have no problem with this bigot building a church near ground zero. But it isn't that surprising.
It wasn't Christians who flew the planes into the towers.
Why do crazy people who think every mosque is training terriost?
why do sane people feel not the need to question the acts of others of whom they know absolutely nothing.
I don't care. You guys already have like ten churches around the thing though.
I wonder if anyone is actually going to give a crap about Christians doing their crazy shenanigans.
He should just bugger off. The last thing anyone needs is yet another pompous religious dickhead.
I think the real irony here is that there's already a church across the street of it, lol
Why would they oppose it when Christians didn't actually commit the 9/11 bombings? Don't think I'm racist or anything, but it's pretty damn obvious why they aren't opposing it.
It wasn't Christians who flew the planes into the towers.
It wasn't the muslims either, it was the taliban. BUT muslims are connected to the bombings, which is why there is so much controversy.
It wasn't Christians who flew the planes into the towers.
Seems someone didn't do their homework [editline]03:19PM[/editline] I'm not saying Christians did it, but the attack on WTC was not because of religion.
It's not bigoted or racist to say that Islam is a vile religion of hate and death. It advocates theocratic totalitarianism and does not recognize the rights of non-Muslims, not to mention being just as life (biological human life) hating and sex fearing (if not more so) than Christianity or Judaism. I find it strange how often Atheist liberals constantly come to the defense of Islam, one of the most repressively religious and conservative ideologies in existence, yet will rant and rant about the evils of Christianity and Judaism. I also find it highly hilarious liberals will defend the mosque on the basis of property rights, considering the fact that liberals( in the socialist sense of the word) have never respected property rights and have actively sought to destroy them. I'd love to see what some of the liberals who defend the mosque on the basis of property rights would have to say on the issue of income tax, anti-trust, emminiate domain, or zoning laws. For the record I am not a religious conservative, or a liberal socialist.
We hate the religious teachings just like any other religion, but christianity is the primary religion in the western world, and it seems to abuse islam, we just stick up for the underdog. [editline]09:33PM[/editline]
Pointless religious tensions and possibly Physical conflict comming to New York. Today was the day that the US officially became too pathetic to be leading ANYTHING on a global level. Newsflash: North/south Ireland conflict with differen't religions comming to the US. Why is it only when it goes out of control that people start to see just how pointless and pathetic Believing in some ghost-guy liking what you do?
The north Irish conflict is people of the same religion fighting, what hope do Christians and Muslims have in mixing peacefully.
I hope this evolves into a sort of religious cold war, with all the major religions trying to make their churches bigger and better.
Not only are they building a mosque near ground zero. They are also opening a new blood bank where people can donate their blood. Now I don't want to be discriminating or anything but it's no big secret that the blood of the terrorists were B Positive. And they will actually be storing B Positive blood in that blood bank. Now each time when I look at that blood bank I will relive 9/11 and it's like I see my relative dying all over again. Say no to blood bank at ground zero.
As Bill Maher said about religion. Grow up or die.
Amen! I say make Ground Zero some sort of recreation center, a museum or something like that, doesn't even have to be about 9/11!! No churches, no mosques...No Fucking Religious Bullshit at All!! [editline]09:10PM[/editline]
He should just bugger off. The last thing anyone needs is yet another pompous religious dickhead.
Yet they keep breeding like catholic bunnies...

I believe they are free to build it if they wish, but I find their reason stupid. The only reason why they do this is because they think Islam is going to rape them (just like they did), children ("..") and their wife.
So they're building this in response to the community center...? Newsflash: Nobody with half a brain gives a shit. Just like nobody with half a brain gives a shit about the community center. They bought the land, they can do what they want. Ideally, we should all ignore them. They want publicity.
For the sake of satirical hypocrisy, you could say building a Christian church near ground zero is disrespectful and immoral because the KKK were a Christian organisation and several black people died in the September 11th attacks. It holds about as much weight as the mosque argument.
You really hit the nail in the head there. Really, they should just have every damn religious place of worship in the city to be even. :v:
