bombing hospitals with White phosphorous... isn't a war crime
Not if it's to create smoke screen.
Smoke-screen or not, its still used offensively if deployed on a hospital with many civilians taking refuge there.
Zionism was Jewish nationalism before Israel, and since Israel's creation it's changed to supporting the Jewish State.
Supporting Iran doesn't mean you're necessarily a bad person or whatever, so supporting Israel surely doesn't as well.
I'd agree the definition of supporting Israel encompasses a lot, Israel can be admired for it's democracy and technological breakthroughs but at the same time it can be criticized for it's mis-treatment of Palestians and it's 40+ year long occupation which is illegal internationally (UN resolution 242). Imo theres far more to criticize Israel for than to praise.

Oh, forget about that, well it was one line anyway.

Yeah, I don't care much for the term Zionist if it's post-Israel, to me the Zionists were a thing of the past, they wanted to create a Jewish state, and they did.
Look at the spot here that seems to be flaming up, it's next to the ambulance. If a real bomb would land there, there wouldn't be any ambulance to look at.
The smoke does some damage too, burnembrownpeopledown, that's why WP is frowned upon
[editline]11:32PM[/editline]
Why did you edit my quote to say "nuke" instead of "real bomb"?
We've been through the "why they bombed it" thing already, right now we're discussing how effective is WP as a weapon.
no, you're discussing that, don't loop me into that
The smoke does some damage too, burnembrownpeopledown, that's why WP is frowned upon
I thought it was the flames which don't go out unless they're covered with sand, and even then the sand has to stay on them or they'll catch on fire again?
no, you're discussing that, don't loop me into that
Whatever.
I thought it was the flames which don't go out unless they're covered with sand, and even then the sand has to stay on them or they'll catch on fire again?
That's Napalm... I think. WP is a chemical. It's the Phosphorous acid that burns, not the flame
Whatever.
you're trying to water down the effects, i'm not a fucking part of that
I'm not trying to, It's not a weapon and if it would be used as such it would suck terribly.
:jihad:
I'm not trying to, It's not a weapon and if it would be used as such it would suck terribly.
The IDF uses it a lot, and it affects a lot of people.
it may not kill many, but it fucking destroys your body.
I'm not trying to, It's not a weapon and if it would be used as such it would suck terribly.
Arguing whether or not its a weapon is pointless. Hammer isn't a weapon either, but it can be used in such a way that in can inflict more excruciating pain to the body than any firearm.
Fuck, its always WP. Stick to the topic guys!
Arguing whether or not its a weapon is pointless. Hammer isn't a weapon either, but it can be used in such a way that in can inflict more excruciating pain to the body than any firearm.
Well I can't argue with that, but it's pretty obvious that Israel has used WP almost always as a smokescreen, and it's arguable over a few cases but it's still in favor of smokescreen.
SMOKE SCREEN THE HOSPITAL
they fire WP into crowded area's knowing full well it damages people?
smooth

Any sources to that?

of course those evil little brown people photoshopped it.

Is there any evidence that Israel specifically targeted the school? Because you know, mistakes do happen sometimes.
dude, we've been over this, it's happened several times. Either Israel needs to stop using artillery, or there's some carelessness going on
No, Israel has been accused several times of this, but most of the time there was a valid reason for using WP (for example military in the area), once of course there was the case where the two officers used WP illegally and without the authority to do so (though I don't know exactly on which case, might have been the one in your photo, might have been a different one), and I'm sure that a few times the WP "landed" a little off of where it was supposed to, as happens with all artillery shelling sometimes.
I see running civilians, not military lol
I said most cases, not necessarily this one.
Stop stereotyping Arabs as little brown people. It's disgusting.
I said most cases, not necessarily this one.
most cases? I haven't heard one case of the military being near the hospitals.

do you do anything or do you just shitpost?

I draw ponies from time to time as well.
fair enough
Here you go if you still doubt Israel's WP use's legality - http://www.idsa.in/idsastrategiccomments/UseofWhitePhosphorousinGaza_SRSubramanian_040309

So... The UN says it's ok, that means it's ok?
even though it's a horrendous chemical? Here you fucking go again, finding loopholes.
[editline]12:18PM[/editline]
you're fucking pathetic.
It's not a loophole.
you know there's a reason israel isn't well liked, it's not like they were chosen out of a hat and everyone began hating on them, they earned their reputation.
In the first 30 years of so of Israel's existence nobody hated it except for Arab countries, like its neighbors; Jordan, Lebanon, Syria and Egypt. After Jordan and Egypt agreed to have peace with Israel in the 70's, nobody really hated it except for a few other Arab countries and the Palestinians under the occupation. Then, in '87, the Palestinians had enough of the Israeli settlers coming to the West Bank and Gaza, and started the intifada. This was a turning point, and from then on the world has payed much more attention to the conflict.
Israel has been accused of being an apartheid and not respecting its Arab citizens, heavily limiting the rights and freedoms of the residents of its occupied territories, and war crimes, and these things are great for the news businesses. That's why the conflict is a lot more famous and talked about than the ones in Somalia, the Turkish-Kurdistan conflict, and several others.

THAT'S ALL BULLSHIT CLAIMS RITE?

"WP is extremely potent and is used in civilian areas" "un doesn't care" "MUST ME JUSTIFIABLY RIGHT"
that's a fucking loophole

In the first 30 years or so of Israel's existence? Yeah.

Most of them.

So when the UN says Israel is wrong, that's that, but when the UN says Israel is right, it's just a loophole?
