Have fun living with that.
Drinks almost as much as a ford gt if not the same or more, it has a terrible everything in what comes to ride, clutch, brakes and everything else, and you need a parking spot good enough for 2 small cars just to fit this thing.
A lambo is actually safer and easier to live with than that, and that means a lot.
There are quite a few cars that actually had problems like this. Cars that are actually built to be the exact opposite of a lambo. Safe, comfortable and economic. The Micra for example had a similar problem with starting fires, and the slr mclarens brakes caught on fire from too hard at high speeds.
What happened to this lambo was probably a power steering fluiid leak that caught on fire.
Obviously, shit I'd do anything for one of those. But it's commonly owned by rich kids who just want the brand name, while compared to other luxury cars around the same price, like a rolls royce it's pretty bad and unsafe as hell
Except a Rolls is twice as much as a Lambo
And corners like a yacht
They aren't really designed for saftey or reliability in mind, you are supposed to just drive them every once in a while. They are pretty much just rolling decorations.
Not to mention if you drive one flat out you can get about 2 miles per gallon
Not to mention if you drive one flat out you can get about 2 miles per gallon
More actually. The ford gt does 4 to the gallon or something, this can do a whole lot more.

Sorry to keep on going off topic but if it's classic muscle you gotta do it right

These are awesome looking cars but it's prohibitively expensive to import an XA into the US, which is the only option since nobody who owns one here wants to sell it.
[editline]21st August 2013[/editline]
I mean yeah that's an XC but I thought about building an XC replica from an XA. Too much $$$
More actually. The ford gt does 4 to the gallon or something, this can do a whole lot more.
I had no idea there were cars with such low mpg. Just shows what I know

I own a lambo
so willing to suck a dudes butt for one? You said you'd do anything for one of those. So just come over here, and plop it in there
don't mind the green shit coming out though, thats nothing
[sp]seriously though, I don't know much about cars but you seem to know way way less about them [/sp]
The guy who owned it will probably just buy two more anyways.
I've read Jeremy Clarkson's article on horsepower and public roads in this month's Top Gear magazine. He mentions that a car with huge amount of horsepower is too much on public roads, let alone one with 300hp.
I think he's right, why get something big for public roads when you can get a hot hatch instead?
[editline]21st August 2013[/editline]
Or a small sportscar like Lotus Elise?
why the fuck do these burst into flames all the time
Hot exhaust systems sardined into very tight spaces near composites made of flammable materials.
Carbon fiber, not plastic. Also that's not any less destroyed than a completely metal car would be, you apparently have no idea how hot car fires burn.

I think he's right, why get something big for public roads when you can get a hot hatch instead?
Because it puts a smile on your face. That is literally all the justification anyone should need to buy a certain type of vehicle.
Guys, Lambo are NOT luxury cars. If you actually had one, you'd know that inside they are as bare as a desert: no radio, no air conditioning, nothing. They aren't as comfortable or as easy to drive as a Rolls Royce, or even a normal, inexpensive car. They are super-cars, made for wanna-be racers. You're not supposed to drive them in the streets for your daily needs. You take them to a race track and have fun.
Is that a Murcielago or an Aventador?
Don't worry guys, it's just Walter White.
Is that a Murcielago or an Aventador?
Gallardo

American cars don't really work in the UK, they're far too wide and far too thirsty. When Clarkson drove the Ford GT on a country road, he had to drive in the bushes every time a car passed on the other side of the road it was that wide
Good as garage queens though
The best lambo imo

I don't like cars, I don't give a shit about cars or anything to do with them
But god damn this fucking car has been the sexiest thing ever since I saw it first as a kid

As someone whose dream dream car is a Porche 911 (and dream car is a WRX STI), you can get faster for much less if you are willing to get aftermarket parts. In my state, all the records at tracks are held by Lancers except one which is held by a Civic (or maybe an Integra, something made by Honda)

they're rich
"yeah, i own a lambo" or "yeah, i own a civic"
<Insert generic nVidia overheat joke here>
But seriously, the fire looked fatal

That's true of older Lambos (and really, any older supercar), but modern Lambos do come with air conditioning, radio, and other amenities; it's not comfortable, but it's not miserable like in older Lambos. It's only when you buy those ridiculous stripped out track cars that they lack luxuries.

Lamborghini is owned by Audi and Audi's supercars and their subsidiaries have a reputation of setting on fire. It's an Audi thing.
