Change the title, add an "again" Perry's killed his campaign before. Maybe Cain wasn't the only troll.

Another Republican candidate bites the dust.
Probably jumped off the roof of our national debt
He'd still be falling.
while i think this is stupid, personal political opinion aside i honestly think republicans are doing a real crash-and-burn here using youtube videos to advocate their candidacy. those who generally go on and use youtube seem to be more nearing to leftist (though not to say they completely dominate everything) ideology in general, so obviously you can see that's it doesn't seem to be working with any of Perry's videos and assumedly other GOP candidates a lot of the GOP candidates seem to be less focused on using more conventional televised advertisements and more on these youtube videos and using media attention to show these videos to the masses. although i could be wrong about it not working well for the GOP cantidates: "Attention is almost [or] as good as Popularity." - Kevin Atteberry the GOP is probably hoping to hell this quote is true for them with these videos, hoping for that liberal slander to spread so that it can find its way to more conservative voters. so by expressing your hatred so much about these videos, you're actually supporting Perry's cantidacy.
What the point of making an ad to appeal to the people already voting for you?
Saw this coming from a mile away :v:
The Like bar is even SMALLER on this one.
my brain hurts my brain herts zo hurd
What the point of making an ad to appeal to the people already voting for you?
if you notice something about people who favor the GOP candidates, you'll notice that there's not a real sense of uniformity or majority between which person favors which candidate. he's trying to appeal to conservatives in general so he can get a bigger slice of the "conservative voter" pie.
He seriously does sound like a stereotypical villain, as someone else said. And my god, are people still using that "I'm _____ and I approve this message" bullshit?
What the point of making an ad to appeal to the people already voting for you?
maybe to see if the things you're saying are actually so stupid that they make other people so stupid that they buy into your bullshit?
I'd be embarrassed to play online poker with this guy.
Saw this coming from a mile away :v:
It's even more stunning when seen in the other "comparison" Youtube puts up. What awes me the most is that this is the original video on his own account; so that means this tally is after all of the people who follow their favorite candidate just to automatically approve of every video they upload. I have seen gore videos get more positive receptions than this. [editline]11:46[/editline] There would essentially be no difference in the ratings if this video was instead one of him holding a cat over his head, tearing it in half like a phonebook, and then facing the camera to smile and whisper "I approve of this message."
gg Rick Perry You done fucked up now boy
And my god, are people still using that "I'm _____ and I approve this message" bullshit?
You can stop at about the 4th second.
What the point of making an ad to appeal to the people already voting for you?
Probably to tell all the former Cain voters "Hey, I'm still here!"
our kids can't openly celebrate Christmas
Yeah man, in some neighbourhoods, if you go around wearing a Santa Hat, you get mugged by roaming gangs of gay soldiers.
I can say that I follow the belief of Christianity as my life guideline However I still think Rick Perry is a bigoted insignificunt that really shouldn't be our leader It is alarming and shocking that there is even a campaign ad like this in 2011
C'mon Ron, you can pull it off.
I understand the "I approve this message" on most political ads but why is it necessary when he's standing there telling me the stuff himself?
hes just a figure head he doesn't give a shit
Oh for fucks sake, he's just George Bush Sr. with a bad tan!
Where the fuck is Glaber?
I understand the "I approve this message" on most political ads but why is it necessary when he's standing there telling me the stuff himself?

In American politics, "I approve this message" (sometimes in the past tense, also with "authorize" in place of "approve", or with "ad" instead of "message") is a phrase said by candidates for federal office in political advertisements on television and radio in order to comply with the so-called Stand By Your Ad provision of the Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act (BCRA), enacted in 2002, that requires "a statement by the candidate that identifies the candidate and states that the candidate has approved the communication." The provision was intended to force political candidates running any campaign for office in the United States to associate themselves with their television and radio advertising, thereby discouraging them from making controversial claims or attack ads.

to associate themselves with their television and radio advertising, thereby discouraging them from making controversial claims or attack ads
What I imagine Rick Perry was listening to while he wrote the script for this ad:
separation of church and state isn't in the constitution or so I've heard It's "in by omission" because there is no state sponsored religion not that it matters also anarchy
Wehehell... so much for him getting the nomination. -scratches name off list-
I unironically hope the liberals win the 'War on Religion'.
"Hello. I'm Rick Perry and I am a giant douchebag who makes slurs against homosexuals and all non-christian americans. I believe faith is the strongest of values, leading to a stronger america that won't be trillion of dollars in debt. Our children aren't allowed to pray in school anymore! I'm a horrible person, and I approve this fucking message."
i approve my own message
