Didn't read but you're probably right anyways anarchy
If you support the current republican party, you are an idiot. There was a time when each party was (somewhat) respectable. That time has past. Republicans are morons who have no idea how to balance a budget, combat terrorism, create foreign policy, protect individual rights, and accept that religion has no place in government. Everything they do is completely against the concepts the nation was designed to embody.
Because the current Democrats in office are sure doing a great job of that. [editline]8th December 2011[/editline]
I wasn't suggesting that you did. I was specifying that you can certainly agree with the older republican ideals and not be an idiot, but supporting the current stances would make you an idiot. I guess I didn't make it clear that I wasn't suggesting you did support them, I was simply clarifying. My apologies.
Eh it's alright. It just annoys me a bit how a lot of Facepunchers like to see every Republican as a dumb ass, backwards retard who watches Glenn Beck 24/7 and worships Bill O' Riley as a demi-god.
WALL OF TEXT
Yeah so that was supposed to be formatted but for whatever reason Facepunch is not liking Firefox right now and I can't even edit it. Won't save it. Is anyone else having this problem?
Because the current Democrats in office are sure doing a great job of that.
Kind of waiting for somebody to pull the ol', "yeah but republicans aren't allowing Obama to do shit" argument here.
I Wan't to punch Rick Perry in the face... sooo much right now.
Because the current Democrats in office are sure doing a great job of that.
I am not disagreeing, but please clarify as to what you are referring to. Our government certainly hasn't been doing a good job recently of defending rights, but people tend to interpret the term "individual rights" in a different fashion, so I am simply curious as to how you see it.
Flagged
Because the current Democrats in office are sure doing a great job of that.
You mean the democrats who have a minority in congress and are useless against the GOP who always vote exclusively along party lines
You mean the democrats who have a minority in congress and are useless against the GOP who always vote exclusively along party lines
That sounds like something hitler would say
Kind of waiting for somebody to pull the ol', "yeah but republicans aren't allowing Obama to do shit" argument here.
That would be what is known as "the truth".
You mean the democrats who have a minority in congress and are useless against the GOP who always vote exclusively along party lines
Didn't Democrats do the same thing when they had Congress majority a couple years back?
Flagged the video for promoting hate or violence.
flagging for promiting hate or viloelnce ecause of seuxal oreitnation
Didn't Democrats do the same thing when they had Congress majority a couple years back?
Oddly enough, they did relatively little. They moved pretty slowly as Obama was trying to appease the Republican party at the time. He was attempting to bridge the gap between the parties. The idea being that they could work together and produce legislation in a fashion similar to how things were done prior to Bush Jr. The Democrats were apparently not aware of exactly how rabid the Republicans had actually become during the brief interlude of their control. [editline]8th December 2011[/editline]
flagging for promiting hate or viloelnce ecause of seuxal oreitnation
Seconded.
explaining why someone is an idiot is easy
When in the fuck did I say I SUPPORTED the party? I said I was Republican, not that I support every single thing the Republican PARTY does. This is like saying you were Democrat and supported every single decision Obama has done. For example, I hate how a lot of Republicans like Perry tend to shove God into everything.
so how does it feel to be one of three republicans (including Ron paul) to support small government?
He seriously does sound like a stereotypical villain, as someone else said. And my god, are people still using that "I'm _____ and I approve this message" bullshit?
"Hi, I'm Rick Perry and I approve of myself and the views that I stand on in the same video" I don't get it.
"Hi, I'm Rick Perry and I approve of myself and the views that I stand on in the same video" I don't get it.
That way we know who produced the video. So if you saw a bunch of people in lab coats saying "Perry is scientifically proven to be the most sane blend of politician", it would follow with "this message was approved by Rick Perry", and you'd realize that it might have all been bullshit
I think Rick Perry is a fucking moron. 1. Gays should be to able to do whatever the fuck straight people can do because this is fucking America. 2. Children should NOT be made to pray in school (if they desire to pray during certain times in school as per their religion that is by all means acceptable) I could go on and on...
Didn't Democrats do the same thing when they had Congress majority a couple years back?
Don't be crazy Democrats can't do anything
If you support the current republican party, you are an idiot. There was a time when each party was (somewhat) respectable. That time has past. Why a Republican won't win the next election: They open their big fucking mouths.
Don't be crazy Democrats can't do anything
they do two things and two things only tax & spend
That might have been one of the most stereotypical and clichéd ads I have seen in a long time
Because the current Democrats in office are sure doing a great job of that.
uh what
I actually laughed out loud seeing this, but then I realized it was real and then I got confused.
I bet you could take any Rick Perry speech, add rimshots after random remarks and make a pretty damn stand up comedy routine.
Kind of waiting for somebody to pull the ol', "yeah but republicans aren't allowing Obama to do shit" argument here.
That's because they aren't. Research your shit before you disregard other peoples' arguments.
This is why I call myself a Conservative instead of a Republican. It seems like so many of them feel that just because they hold something to be good, like prayer, that they can force it on other people. They do the same in reverse: if they think it's bad and have no other justification for why other than "It's bad, mkay", then they see no problem with banning or limiting it(weed, DADT, etc.).
Obama's sure-fire way of winning the election. Play this ad on national TV
