I just like the controller, so i prefer console.
The consoles' graphics looking like medium graphic settings of the PC version doesn't make the game any less fun. The largest difference is the 32 players on PC vs 24 on the consoles, but it's the same game otherwise.
Which is funny, because on the back of the PC case they say 24 player servers. :v:
In a nutshell. But, speaking of dedicated servers, didn't MW2 have dedicated servers in the code and the developers disabled it? And then the pirates found it and enabled dedicated servers on the cracked PC version? :v:
Yep :v:
I expected this.
PC gaming is dying guys, this is proof. :downs:
And you know that a company that cares is behind the game.
from a business standpoint dice doesn't really care they just ripped mw2s ass saying they were going to have dedicated servers just to pull the butthurt anti-mw2 people to buy bad company 2
I wonder why a PC franchise did best on PC?
It's really pissing me off how people keep bringing up "couch" as an argument for why they stay with console when you can just hook up the tv to the PC aswell as have the Monitor connected when you want to play with keyboard and mouse... It never ceases to amaze me how some people out there legitimately think a console is better than a pc when the PC can do every single thing a console can do and better than it can.
It's a very console game still imo. I mean you can't even fucking lay down! It's a good game but I feel a lot of console influence on it, not the true successor to Battlefield 2.
not being able to prone is to reduce camping snipers are already horrible and that would make them worse.
Only thing I dislike about BFBC2 is the server browser. Why can't it update WHILE browsing, like in Source games?? For the rest it's an awesome game. Bringing down buildings never gets old.
not being able to prone is to reduce camping snipers are already horrible and that would make them worse.
But it removes much of the fun I had in Battlefield 2, I've always been able to go prone and a game without it now is mind boggling.
Doesn't really matter. I always find Full servers on the 360. And that's is all i care about.

I had the 360 version pre-ordered and was worried my PC wouldn't perform well, decided to download it and see how it ran a week before release. It ran well so I cancelled my 360 pre-order and went with PC instead. It would be perfect if not for punkbuster and EA servers. Server browser needs a lot of work but other than that bloody well done.
This is why
I still play this game.

Even though i'm mainly a console gamer, I would most likely get BFBC:2 for PC if I actually had a computer that can run it. That's the only reason why I play consoles more.

With PC version, you can make custom mods, servers and skins. Plus you have to install the game which takes up space and you need a good rig to play the game at max settings. Consoles on the other hand have DLC which you need to buy, an almost lag free multiplayer session and immediate game play without having to install the game. Plus the graphics is at a fixed setting [editline]02:40PM[/editline] Either way, EA and DICE is getting your money
an almost lag free multiplayer session
:downs:
Plus the graphics is at a fixed setting
Read: Lowest setting.
I think the prone was for balance issues. Idunno. Edit: Oops, rated myself late
not balanced for prone lol
Not a surprise. FPS gaming on pc is superior to consoles, afterall.
If you want prone, wait for battlefield 3. This one's meant to be more action packed. I think prone doesn't fit.
No.
no what? the computer gaming scene is usually alot better than consoles because of play created content.
It's all because PC gamers are, on average, more capable of going against the masses and buying the better game, instead of the mainstream crap.
Well everyone who faithfully stuck with the boycott of Modern Warfare 2 moved onto Bad Company 2. Not a lot of numbers, but theres probably a good amount. I want to see the sales of each version compared
They both suck dick Battlefield is like the most boring game ever the beta sucked more dick than Robert Pattison.
They both suck dick Battlefield is like the most boring game ever the beta sucked more dick than Robert Pattison.
Fail troll.
I got it for PS3 because: 1) My computer can't run it 2) Punkbuster rapes me with sandpaper when I try to play BF2, BF2142, PR, AIX, etc. I'll probably get a new computer by the time BF3 comes out so I'll get it for PC
If my computer could run it I would have gotten it for computer, instead I got it for 360. It's a great game and an improvement on the first.
