Please don't label all Chinese as barbaric, shark-hating people who don't care about the oceans. It's racist and offensive.
I didn't though, I said "old chinese medicine" bullshitters are an issue, that's a lot more specific than "all chinese". Most of them aren't even actually Chinese, they are just greedy fuckers who sell expensive magic stuff to clueless rich idiots, using the term "chinese medicine" because it gets people to buy more easily. [editline]12th November 2013[/editline]
This really blows. Fuck, what are we doing? We're such a selfish people. We rob future generations of their prosperity by living like this... by destroying forests and wiping out entire oceanic species to make our bellies and wallets fat. It's seriously despicable. Our oceans and forests are such a treasure...I can't imagine what the world will be like without a great barrier reef or an Amazon rainforest. I can only hope we'll sort our shit out soon and attempt to repair the damage we've wrought on our world, not only for our's and the world's sake but for future generations. It wouldn't be so hard to live sustainably...
Any population leaving in large number equals to destruction or damaging of the surroundings. This isn't a fact limited to human beings. Several other animal species are causing long-lasting ecological damage to their environment or to other species, see how some species of ants have somehow managed to travel to other continents and are proceeding to eradicate local species of ants and other animals by colonizing the place at an alarming rate. See Argentine ants.
Why? Shark Fin soup isn't even good. I remember having to drink that shit for a whole fortnight. And it was mixed in with Bird's Nests, too!
