Are you thinking of Mitch McConnell?
Yes, that's the guy.
Even better Source
Republicans: "We want states rights! Except for our backwards ass policies that we want to force on everyone!"
I thought google rallied for net neutrality?
They don't benefit as much from it anymore, since they've gotten so big themselves that they can use big company dirty tactics.
[t]https://i.imgur.com/petllQO.jpg[/t]
No, the intent is to have complete control over everything we do and make some extra cash in the process. Fuck you.
No, the intent is to have complete control over everything we do and make some extra cash in the process. Fuck you.
The joke's that "The intent is to provide players with a sense of pride and accomplishment for unlocking different characters" was EA's pathetic excuse for their attempt at a moneygrab with Battlefront 2's microtransactions.
Are you thinking of Mitch McConnell?
at least Mitch McConnell has the sense to look miserable all the time. the worst faces are always the happy "dance for me" ones with the super exaggerated expressions. like every time they feel like frowning they just remember that a small child probably just died somewhere in the world
It will now cost a measly cost of 4.99$ to post in this thread [t]https://i.imgur.com/Omuo6ev.png[/t] Continue on as you would
???
This is such an easy thing to do. I just did it for the first time and it's mostly all automatic. All you need to do is introduce yourself and tell them that you support net neutrality and that they need to contact the FCC chairman.
And then the FCC completely ignores it. In fact, they're completely ignoring every comment they get that either A: Doesn't support them or B: Doesn't present what they consider a serious legal argument. I'm not kidding. https://www.theverge.com/platform/amp/2017/11/22/16689838/fcc-net-neutrality-comments-were-largely-ignored They openly admit to ignoring our sentiments unless we are lawyers. They also openly admit to outright ignoring those sorts of forms, consider it spam, probably gets filtered out automatically and doesn't even reach the inbox of an intern much less someone who needs to see it. I mean, it's been obvious for years that politicians ignore the common folk, and I've been mentioning the outright pointlessness of these campaigns because they just ignore us, but to have them so blatantly admit it to us like that?! Like they don't even care about pretending to care?! I don't know if I should be gleeful from the vindication or livid from the obvious.
hardly a majority of americans are against electing representatives who are against net neutrality
Hardly a majority of Americans actually know what the fuck they're doing at the ballot box Frankly I'm not surprised that relatively few people actually know what's going on with net neutrality
Wasn't there a study that basically had them interviewing Trump supporters, going like "What do you think of Trump's idea to <insert Hillary Clinton policy here>?" And more than half of them acted like they'd known it was part of Trump's platform all along. Voters for reality TV stars have no clue what the fuck they're doing, especially when this particular star quite clearly suffers from mild dementia.
Trump is the most popular cult leader in america since Jim Jones
Which is incredible, since the guy's got about as much charisma as a sack of stale shit.
I'm not saying we should just give up, but it's getting really tiresome having to fight against this every year when these fucks won't take no for an answer, they just dig it back up and try to dress it up as something it's not.
Which is incredible, since the guy's got about as much charisma as a sack of stale shit.
If people fall in line this easily for a 1980-2000's era C/D list celebrity who is aging, obese, and has elementary school level insults, we should be grateful that this did not happen with a younger, more charismatic and intelligent equivalent of someone with Trump's platform. (If you want extra nightmare fuel, imagine all that wrapped in someone who was also politically savvy to boot...)
They won't fucking listen to anyone anyway no matter how much protest there is. It's clear in recent years that these people and our shitty governments will just do what they want anyway because really, who will stop them? Nobody. I fucking give up with 'democracies'.
america in a nutshell tbh
Corporations are people... People are limited in what they can donate to political organizations... Therefor, corporations should be limited in what they can donate to political organizations.
Trump is the most popular cult leader in america since Jim Jones
On that note, a thought. What if Donald Trump calls for a Jim-Jones-esque mass murder-suicide (people forcefed other people the poision in Jonestown, so that's homocide), ala Local 58. How horrible would things get?
Please remember that this is an executive agency rescinding its own rules, not a legislative action. Contact your federal and state representatives and tell them you want this regulation similarly codified in law, if you are so inclined.
Please remember that this is an executive agency rescinding its own rules, not a legislative action. Contact your federal and state representatives and tell them you want this regulation similarly codified in law, if you are so inclined.
That's a clear misread of the situation and you know it. He was appointed the chairmen by Trump, and Ajit Pai is making the choice. He was a republican nominee confirmed during the Obama years, and made chairmen by Trump
Please remember that this is an executive agency rescinding its own rules, not a legislative action. I'm glad that nobody here is fooled when certain individuals try to gaslight by calling an orange an apple.
I thought google rallied for net neutrality?
when trump said he wanted 15% tax rate they rolled over drooling. fucking sellouts [editline]23rd November 2017[/editline]
If people fall in line this easily for a 1980-2000's era C/D list celebrity who is aging, obese, and has elementary school level insults, we should be grateful that this did not happen with a younger, more charismatic and intelligent equivalent of someone with Trump's platform. How will it affect outside of US?
How will it affect outside of US?
Probably not directly, but you might encounter slower speeds.
How will it affect outside of US?
ISP's outside of the US might attempt the same.
one wonders if future EU trade deals will stipulate net neutrality because this doesn't just affect US companies, anyone who hosts sites viewable in the US is affected and isps could institute a throttle on foreign sites or services if they don't pay up.
