Bethesda Says New Vegas Has Shipped 5 Million Units

Am I the only one who didn't notice the stupid shit you guys are nitpicking about? Seriously, if you want dynamic shadows go jizz all over Crysis. A game can still look good with an outdated engine, I point to Killingfloor and, don't flame me for this, Minecraft. I've never had issues with Gamebyro and from what I can tell, the engine is extremely modifiable. And last time I checked, it had HDR, Bloom effects, the physics can sometimes get wonky but that leads to hilarity. The only thing that is sorely missing is your dynamic shadows which in my case I'm glad they left them out or my computer would explode in my face.
After playing this, I realised how fucking shit Fallout 3 was.
Yeah they should follow the lead of Valve and use a modern engine
I'm growing tired of the Source engine.
I want Half-life3 along with Source v2. Some entirely different engine and approach to the gameplay!

I agree, I've been playing the Source Engine for far too long-- there is no learning curve when playing games on source.. its just so easy to adapt.
The gamebryo engine is fucking awesome. I love using the construction set for TES games. What they need to do is upgrade it considerably or something.
The reason why they're still using that engine is because it is perfect for the style of games that Bethesda creates. Massive landscapes, etc, etc.
Gamebryo may be shit, but you can mod the fuck out of it, though. Also, enough tweaks to the configuration files can make it nearly crash free.
Do share
Where the fuck is my PC DLC bethesda

Games that have come out so far this year:
Mass Effect 2
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call of Pripyat
BioShock 2
Napoleon: Total War
Battlefield: Bad Company 2
Assassin's Creed 2
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II: Chaos Rising
Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening
Just Cause 2
StarCraft II: Wings of LIberty
Amnesia: The Dark Descent
Civilization V
Dead Rising 2
And those are only the games that got an average score of 8.0 or above.
I'd give best game title to DA:O probably, but New Vegas was also (very) fun.
I had not a single crash before I made one little addon for it.
Nice.
Well this game is much more worth buying than buying Black Ops anyways
