screw editline EDITED Oh God, is it bad that I know who is in your avatar?
What's wrong with knowing who Boo Radley is?
The Blockbuster near my house has been since turned into a party store.
Dollar Store for me.
And yet the nostalgia of Hollywood Video will never return...*sigh* I remember every Friday night going there to rent some god-awful B movie and a Video Game.
Here in sweden most video rental shops had to close back in 2003 when fiber optic internet came. I don't know if there is a connection there.
Good, Netflix is shitty now since Viacom withdrew every movie they own from it.
I hate Blockbuster for one reason (At least in my area) Rent a game, Forget to take it back (Overdue a couple days) They charge you automatically full price for the game. You get to keep it, but you just paid $70 for it
Worked for a competitor of blockbuster in canada called Rogers rental. We all did that really. Just Blockbuster seemed more strict about it, we gave ya two weeks and if ya brought it back we would just charge you the (sometimes big) late fee. Unless ya claim to have returned/lost it in defense of the late charge. Block buster just shut down couple blocks from my house. was kinda depressing to see them selling their stock, Also a bit infuriating to see some amazing titles left behind due to not being popular. For instance Fight club and a copy of goldeneye.
