I usually defend politicians when they change their minds, but Mitt Romney is a special case of extreme flip flopping and pandering. I've never seen anything like it.

He changes his mind literally every day and that's inexcusable for someone seeking the top position.
Will Facepunch ever forgive anyone they dont like?
[sp]Seriously, will they?[/sp]
I love the political term flip-flop.
I mean, we know politicians are usually full of shit and say things for the sake of, but the raw implications behind "flip-flopping" are literally: How dare he/she change his/her mind or apologize for saying something erroneous!
no its literally: lying flat out and "changing your mind" when you get caught, or changing all of your political ideals just to be elected as the president of the united states in a hurried and hypocritical frenzy
Will Facepunch ever forgive anyone they dont like?

no because we're not morons desperately trying to accept a politicians apology that was only made after he got roasted a few weeks before the election
I find it funny how facepunch acts like Romney is the only politician to ever go against his word.
I find it funny how facepunch acts like Romney is the only politician to ever go against his word.
We don't? We just find it fucking stupid how he does it literally every hour and in the debate, he was doing it every minute.
How the fuck can anyone trust Romney? As soon as he says one thing, the contradiction comes out the other side of his face. How can you take him seriously let alone expect anyone else to when it's so blindingly obvious?
I don't like any politician but he's the archetype for "bad shit is coming".
Will Facepunch ever forgive anyone they dont like?

"Romney has signed a pledge promising to seek passage of an amendment to the U.S. Constitution to define marriage as the union of one man and one woman."
no
I find it funny how facepunch acts like Romney is the only politician to ever go against his word.
We don't.
He changes his word like every five seconds.
How can we trust him if he becomes a president when he can't make up his damn mind in the debates?
I love the political term flip-flop.

And people will only call it that when referring to the other guy. When it's their candidate, it's "learning from mistakes."
I find it funny how facepunch acts like Romney is the only politician to ever go against his word.
huh? what are you even talking about? if the story were about obama going against his word on something offensive he said right after he got caught i would have said the same exact thing
[editline]7th October 2012[/editline]
And people will only call it that when referring to the other guy. When it's their candidate, it's "learning from mistakes."
love all the posters who just make shit up to argue about so they can stoke their conservative ego
All politicians are the same, some are just less stupid.
All politicians are the same, some are just less stupid.
political apathy is a cheap copout for people who are afraid to accept criticism of their candidates
And people will only call it that when referring to the other guy. When it's their candidate, it's "learning from mistakes."
I'm sorry obama didn't go out and advertise that he doesn't care about half of america then say "whoops I didn't mean that" when he got caught. This isn't about "romney did this and nobody else ever has", this is about how massive of a fuck-up Romney has gotten into time and time again in this and how he doesn't remotely try to hide the fact he says one thing one day then goes and says the complete opposite the next, in public, on the news, to the american people.
At this point he will literally say whatever he thinks will get the popular opinion of the people he's standing directly in front of whilst sliding in whatever his deep-pocketed benefactors want him to push, so that he can continue being funded for his race and accumulate a positive favor amongst whoever he can in order to just win.
"Clearly in a campaign with hundreds if not thousands of speeches and question-and-answer sessions, now and then you're going to say something that doesn't come out right,"
except you said those things behind closed doors you cunt
political apathy is a cheap copout for people who are afraid to accept criticism of their candidates
I'm not being apathetic, I'm just saying that they hardly listen to the populous.
"We have a very different approach – the president and I – between a government-dominated society and a society driven by free people pursuing their dreams,".
Yeah well fuck you too, Romney. My European health care and cheap education allow me to pursue my dreams just as well as I damn please.
I find it funny how facepunch acts like Romney is the only politician to ever go against his word.
I think to go against his word romney would actually have to be in office to go back on his word. As it stands he as a multitude of positions and I have no idea whether he would be more conservative or liberal as president. That is not good for someone trying to be president.
Mitt rommney's favorite past time is to ride bicycles backwards while wearing flip flops
except you said those things behind closed doors you cunt
And for two weeks after the fact doubling down on it.
I don't like him.
And people will only call it that when referring to the other guy. When it's their candidate, it's "learning from mistakes."
Come on man, we know you don't like Romney. You don't have to defend his shit.
at least he admits he was wrong. but of course facepunch will ignore that fact with their blatant bias.
Are you really going to accept a politician's apology without questioning it? Because that's what politically biased people do, accept everything their side tells them.

"Waaah stop being mean to Mitt you Obama loving freaks!!11"
Obama is a spineless, weak man who wasn't up to the job.
Mitt is just a spineless bastard who wants everything and will say anything to get it in a long line of failed, terrible, awful Republican nominations. Even McCain is a better choice than any of the morons they put up against Obama.

I was just about to post that. Funny video
at least he admits he was wrong. but of course facepunch will ignore that fact with their blatant bias.
Even if he would actually mean it,he will still remain an asshole who wants 47% of Americans burned for fuel.
Even the homosexuals and atheists mitt?
Considering it says "non religious people aren't tolerated" on their website, i'm gonna say no. (paraphrased, it's on the american conservative party site)

Umm sorry, liberals have been criticizing obama for the last 4 years.
don't pretend like they only go after republicans.
