Afaik Trump did not empower racists or make murder of non-white Americans legal. He did not tell anyone to go and kill someone. I don't like defending Trump but this is a huge logical leap to go from "racist kills someone" to "racial attack happened due to Trump"
Trump isn't the beginning of it, obviously, but he does have a hand in it.
Oddly enough, at his rallies and with his speeches, he has encouraged violence against minorities multiple times:

some of you self proclaimed 'rational' thinkers are just literalists who can't seem to decipher cryptic bigotry.. which it isn't even fair to call it that, because it's pretty fucking blatant outside of him calling for actual murder, which is where apparently you'll all draw the line (hint its too late by then)

Uh, no. Even in open-carry states guns aren't allowed anywhere near a place where you can get intoxicated
And this is the America that the White House wants...
Can people fuck off with this absolutely fucking dumb, asinine, blind, hypocritical double-standard rhetoric ?
You want to claim [POLITICIAN GOES HERE] is ruining [COUNTRY GOES HERE], get yourself citations, get yourself a point, and learn to write a proper, compelling argument. Otherwise, you're quite literally just sitting in the same basket as the rest of the reactionary [POLITICAL WING HERE].
I think it may well be time to start labelling these kinds of things as acts of terror; they fit the definition.
Radical white terrorists really have done quite a bit of damage in the united states.

A drunken murder is not terrorism. I'd call Dylan Roof and the canadian mosque shooter a terrorist, but this guy is just a racist fuckhead who shouldn't own a gun and deserves to spend the rest of his life in prison for what hes done.

All three of them are politically motivated, though. Hate crimes are terrorism, if terrorism's definition is "the unlawful use of violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims."
Hate crimes *are* terrorism.
Do go on. Are verbal insults violence too?
Do go on. Are verbal insults violence too?
Please, read my edit, and now dispute Google's definition. Politically motivated murder = terrorism.

Someone being murdered is terrifying, yes.

It's not unreasonable to be skeptical of claims such as Trump having a hand in acts like this. Unless there is evidence put forward that suggests Trump is directly involved, this all just kneejerk and reactionary. It's not a matter of being unable to ascertain thinly-veiled bigotry, it's more so a failure to see how an alleged hate crime in some Kansas bar is indicative of direct influence from Trump. Acts like this have happened, still happen, and will continue to happen everywhere on Earth. Just because Trump is the president doesn't mean that is the cause of this crime. Instead, we can blame this racist fuck who killed that man for actually committing the crime instead of shifting the blame.

Nobody is saying Trump had a hand directly in this. They're saying Trump's xenophobic rhetoric is encouraging the worst elements of society.

Trump has encouraged hate crimes and the murder of Indian Americans? When?

Madasani’s father, Jaganmohan Reddy, told the Hindustan Times that in recent months, he had begun to ask his son to return home, fearing that he might not be safe in the country’s racially charged atmosphere, with ugly incidents and hate groups on the rise.
“The situation seems to be pretty bad after Trump took over as the U.S. president. I appeal to all the parents in India not to send their children to the United States in the present circumstances,” Reddy said.

Trump has encouraged hate crimes and the murder of Indian Americans? When?
Nah do I'm saying his xenophobic attitude in general isn't helping

You must not read the news very much.
Trump/the alt/troll right is a direct result of ~25 years of hate speech from right wing talk radio/TV pundits whipping up the uneducated racists, anti-semites, and misogynists in the USA, in attempts to leverage polarization for political and viewership ends.
One can't spew this sort of racialist hate rhetoric and then pretend all of the externalizes caused by it have nothing to do with it. Only a deliberately misinformed fool (who has also forgotten 20th century world history) would believe that.

he really, really empowered racists
Muslim ban ring any bells? If I had any money I'd bet everything I owned he assumed the guy was Muslim because he was brown. So yes, Trump *is* indirectly responsible.

How is Trump even indirectly responsible for how badly a 51 years old man turned out ?
Did his one entire month in office somehow retroactively made this man who has lived half a century a bad person, bad enough to illegally bring a gun into a bar and shoot someone with it ?

Trump was the straw that broke the camel's back, clearly.

Okay, remember the spike in hate crimes after Brexit? A big part of Leave's campaign was controlling immigration from the EU - a big anti-Muslim scare in the UK. Same shit applies to Trump's campaign. He pandered to the degenerate right wing, and they were emboldened by his rhetoric. This would not have happened had Hillary Clinton won, I assure you of that.

I'm pretty sure a black man staying eight years at the white house would scare racists more than trump being elected for a month would empower them.
Maybe you all ought to wait until the body's cold before you start being political vultures and use a dead man to forward your fear-mongering nonsense about a figure who is quite literally irrelevant in this situation.
You should be fucking ashamed of yourselves.

This is a big assumption you're making right here? A really naive one too.

Oh and I guess you cant let a good controversy go to waste, huh guys?

Can you prove this beyond all doubt?

I should run for president, I'm such a morally depraved person.
I don't think it's irrelavent when the president makes a habit of spreading awful, hateful comments.

You should become a politician because you're real fucking good at exploiting tragedy to push your own political agenda, even when it is woefully fucking irrelevant and a god damn insult to the families and loved ones of those who died.
You are the new equivalent of some backwater hillbilly saying "thanks obama!", I hope you realize that.

Yeah, I think I voted for you last election.
Can you prove this beyond all doubt?
I never pretended I could. Merely pointed out probable cause and effect. This isn't the first such incident since he won the election, is it?
I never pretended I could. Merely pointed out probable cause and effect. This isn't the first such incident since he won the election, is it?
I'm sure at least one trump voter has been struck by lightning since the election as well and yet you don't see me claiming hillary is summoning the wrath of the gods on her enemies.
You are shit at making assumptions. Stop making them.

Oooooh, we're playing this game?
Ok, let me remind you of all the Trump supporters that had their literal shit kicked in after the election. Clearly this is the proof of the start of the white genocide.
