Jurassic Park 'seque'' map and plot details leaked, reveals film is basically just modernized rehash

I like the idea of good dinosaurs.
This plot sounds pants-on-head retarded. And where would this take place? It couldn't possibly be on Isla Nublar or Isla Sorna.
whatever, worth a cheap watch a year or so after it comes out for dino v dino action
This sounds fucking retarded
I'll go ahead and say you can make pretty much anything sound retarded if you word it in the right way.
I won't jump into conclusions. I think the plot can be a lot better than this JoBlo thing made it sound like.
There is so much untapped potential in the JP universe and it's frustrating they are going the Sy-Fy channel route. Why do we need a genetic mutation when THIS hasn't even happened in the films?

A new park could have been a good idea. They could have updated the original movies message for a modern audience. Being too reliant on technology can be our downfall. The new park could tout how it was much safer than the old one, but it blows up in their faces and history repeats itself. I can even stretch to have a genetic freak by accident or even the ill will of a scientist and when it breaks out it could cause a chain reaction releasing the other dinosaurs and a natural fight could occur.
Jurassic Park isn't just about Dinosaurs wreaking havoc, but instead showing the grace and majesty of these amazing creatures. Taming the dinosaurs to fight the "bad" dino is just not what this series needs.
Also, if there is no Dilophosaurus I will be very upset. One of the best Dinosaurs in the first film and it's only had one appearance.
I read this on AV-club a few days and I was hoping it was a joke.

Isla Nublar is confirmed. For months.
Colin Trevorrow confirmed the rumors to be true, but also cleared them up a bit.
So the rumors are true?
Yes. Jurassic World takes place in a fully functional park on Isla Nublar. It sees more than 20,000 visitors every day. You arrive by ferry from Costa Rica. It has elements of a biological preserve, a safari, a zoo, and a theme park. There is a luxury resort with hotels, restaurants, nightlife and a golf course. And there are dinosaurs. Real ones. You can get closer to them than you ever imagined possible. It’s the realization of John Hammond’s dream, and I think you’ll want to go there.
What are the relationships between the main characters and the dinosaurs? Are there “good guy” and “bad guy” dinosaurs in the movie?
There’s no such thing as good or bad dinosaurs. There are predators and prey. The T-Rex in Jurassic Park took human lives, and saved them. No one interpreted her as good or bad. This film is about our relationship with animals, how we react to the threat they pose to our dominance on earth as a species. We hunt them, we cage them in zoos, we admire them from afar and we try to assert control over them.
Chris Pratt’s character is doing behavioral research on the raptors. They aren’t trained, they can’t do tricks. He’s just trying to figure out the limits of the relationship between these highly intelligent creatures and human beings. If people don’t think there’s potential in those ideas, maybe they won’t like this movie. But I ask them to give it a chance.
Will there be crossbred dinosaurs or new species created for the movie?
We were hoping audiences could discover this on their own, but yes, there will be one new dinosaur created by the park’s geneticists. The gaps in her sequence were filled with DNA from other species, much like the genome in the first film was completed with frog DNA. This creation exists to fulfill a corporate mandate—they want something bigger, louder, with more teeth. And that’s what they get.
I know the idea of a modified dinosaur put a lot of fans on red alert, and I understand it. But we aren’t doing anything here that Crichton didn’t suggest in his novels. This animal is not a mutant freak. It doesn’t have a snake’s head or octopus tentacles. It’s a dinosaur, created in the same way the others were, but now the genetics have gone to the next level. For me, it’s a natural evolution of the technology introduced in the first film. Maybe it sounds crazy, but most of my favorite movies sound crazy when you describe them in a single sentence.
Now that I read the interview it sounds like 10 times better.
I think Trevorrow was the right choice for this movie. I like the whole idea better now.
It makes sense because that's exactly that was implied in the first movie about the scientists and engineering.
The title should be changed since the OP went nuts on this. Modernized rehash of the original? My ass. Jurassic World is able to be as good as the first one.
I can't change the title cause it won't let me when I go to edit article. I already tried to put 'sequel' to edit the typo but it won't fix it.
No.
Make a movie that takes place a day after the events of Jurassic park 3 where the US millitairy is tired of all this dinosaur bullshit and they send in the army with tanks, A-10s, and various other things with guns on them too kill all dinosaurs and end it all. The movie follows a group of scientists doing shenanigans on the island while a full out war goes on around them.
yes lets have yet another military movie how refreshing
