As per the EU political structure, do you think the common EU citizen knows the difference between the European council, the Council of the European Union, The European Commission and the Council of Ministers? Also due to each member of the EU being confederate by nature each one has its own individual political structure, which adds several more layers of complication in foreign relations because not only do you have to commune with the EU political system, you also have to do so with your current country, making it a arduous task to amend or add EU regulations unless your already in the EU system. I'd go more into detail about how the EU has over-regulated itself to the point where its GDP growth is relative to Antarctica's but i'll just skip to the Euro: The Euro first started its value as around $1.60 and since its introduction its value has gone nothing but down to the point where it is today: $1.06. Given the consistent downward trend in its value the Euro will be tossed for safer U.S. dollars once it hits around $1.03 (speculative) the euros value will collapse fucking over the Euro based economies. The U.S. is in a bad spot right now but its nowhere near as bad as the EU.
I don't know exactly where you're getting this information, I assume you made it up considering you're using the value of the Euro as a metric for the health of the EU economy, but GDP growth in about every country in the EU is not only currently larger than the US (Barring several well established and stable economies like Switzerland) but also projected to be far larger than the US in the next 5 years. I'm gonna let you Google that, since it seems like you need to do some research anyway. I don't know exactly why you bother mentioning that the EU's structure is complicated, as a transnational union it needs to be complicated, and it really is nowhere near as hard as you make it out to be, it's also something that is taught on every country of the EU, so yes, believe it or not, the common EU citizen is aware about how the Council of the European Union (No longer called the Council of Ministers, in case you didn't know, they're the same thing) and the European Parliament are the EU's bicameral legislature, the European Commision being its Executive branch, in which legislation is initiated. The European Council is comprised of every single head of state of the EU and is tasked with providing strategic input to the other institutions.

People were googling what the EU was after voting to leave it because they were idiots, and voted without reason, and against their own interests. Calling them idiots may be offensive, but during the time period where they could vote and inform themselves, they didnt by and large and now your country will genuinely suffer the consequences of pure stupidity even if you refuse to acknowledge that. This event being fucked doesn't hang on your admission of that. You can stick your fingers in your ears til you're up til your knuckles but that will never change the truth of the matter.

You're saying my point for me, and acting like I'm doing you a favour. You're the weirdest person.
apparently a majority of UK referendum leave voters (17 million+) are retards so I am not sure they knew.
If they're anywhere as obtuse as you I can see why they wouldn't try to learn what the institutions of the EU actually do before voting to leave it.

You have embraced the concept but fail to accept there are pitfalls.
apparently a majority of UK referendum leave voters (17 million+) are retards so I am not sure they knew.
Now I don't want to say that 17 million voters are retarded... Because a lot of them regretted their votes afterwards :zing: [sp] (and have poor education, got misinformed, are fishermen, and a whole bunch of other stuff) [/sp]
Okay. This thread isn't going anywhere because Sweden won't be facing a "Swexit" anytime soon. Just because one parliament member suggested this, it doesn't mean it's going to happen.
