Unless it's confirmed that she or someone else are going to eat what she kills or not, I refuse to take any sides. I only believe in hunting things for food. My dad is a hunter and we eat whatever he kills. (Well, we do have a set of antlers on the wall, but we ate him, and he made goooood sausage.) Hunting just to kill and for trophies is wasteful. Yes, it is also done to control the population which is vital, but throwing away what's useful and only using it for show is wrong in my opinion. All that meat and such could be used to feed many starving/homeless people.
Ya, lets just give her the address of every nearby to-go restaurant.
Yeah look at all these mass murderers.
The ducks aren't dead The guys just dropped something really cool into the water
You see, the difference is those animals are being consumed. They are being killed so their meat can feed hungry mouths. Killing a deer so its head can be mounted on a wall is fucking retarded. As someone mentioned earlier, the Natives had the right of it - if you can't make use of the animal then don't fucking kill it.
You're assuming people who hunt deer for their antlers don't also use the meat.
I'd go to each of their houses, knock, give them a gun and tell them to shoot me. "You got the stone for it? You really want me dead? Go for it, since you are the one to decide who deserves to live or not."

Baaaawwwww a few fucking dead ducks
There is a difference between hunting and trophy hunting. Hunting I can understand. People survive from it, they do it to feed themselves and their families. Trophy hunting though, now that's just fucking stupid. In any case, I feel zero sympathies for her.
Baaaawwwww a few fucking dead ducks
pretty much this. i mean sure, mindlessly killing animals isn't exactly the best free-time hobby but there are a lot worse things that could be happening. and not to place trophy hunters on a pedestal but if you knew just how hard it was just to accurately fire a hunting rifle from such a distance, you might have a little more respect for them. all i'm saying is it's incredibly easy for all of us to look from the outside in
(stay away from the comments)
Oh well I guess I'll have to look now, can't be that bad though right? I mean it's not like they can be that bad surely...
@Animal_Justice @coreycogdell What a f***ing waste! WTFIs wrong with ppl?cruel!! These ppl need to be shot deheaded and posted on a wall— Vanessa Lea Kapusta (@NeSaLeaKapusta) August 03, 2012
You know, sometimes, you just really want to fuck someone in the face with a brick for their sheer drooling stupidity.
"Kill yourself, because unlike you, I'm totally not a horrible person."
I was raised hunting and fishing, and its a lot of fun and I wish more people did it. Then you get these people that put animals on a pedestal and damn near worship them saying hunters should be shot and killed for doing this. We don't go out with the mindset "Fuck yeah, 'Murrica, gonna kill a whole bunch of worthless animals." Shooting is fun, and being out in nature is fun. If you don't like hunting, fine, but to say we should be punished for it is a joke.
The comments are just so god damn ironic. "YOU MURDERER HAVE YOU NO SOUL! YOU NEED TO BE MURDERED!" I can't take people seriously if they make retarded comments like that holy shit. Also, I can't see why everyone is getting their panties twisted, because she's posing over a pile of RABBITS and PHEASANTS. Yeah, those are just some of the most common wildlife that are hunted. I would understand you concerns if she was posing over a pile of fucking pandas or some shit. Also, where is it stated that the bodies are all from the same day? Many places have a daily bag limit that prevents you from bagging more than 2 - 3 per day. You people amaze me. Not in a positive way.

Not bad.
I'm going to mock people with a stronger sense of empathy than me because feelins r gay and I have to shoot other living things to feel powerful in this world.
Alright, to clear up some misinformation in the heads of anyone in this thread who has not gone pheasant hunting, I feel I need to say a few things. 1. Pheasants are crafty, hunting them is really hard because they take flight at the slightest provocation. 2. No pheasant hunter in the history of time has ever shot a bird and said "oh, yes, this is a wonderful trophy!" and then subsequently mounted the bird's tiny fucking head on his or her wall. Even if somebody did do that, they were either laughed at for being a moron or it was intended as a joke in the first place. 3. Anyone who hunts birds retrieves their kills because they are delicious and it's usually illegal to shoot them without attempting retrieval. The DNR (no matter the state) makes a huge, colossal deal over that sort of thing. They have been known to confiscate anything from a gun up to the truck you used to drive to wherever you were hunting. Word of advice: never, ever fuck with the DNR. [editline]8th August 2012[/editline] Oh, and those are ring-neck pheasants. They're not ducks, geese, quail, doves, crows or giraffes. Just so everyone knows what's surrounding her. Another thing, she's not standing on them either.
I think she's hot.
You all really need to watch Ted Nugent, he's a really smart man when it comes to wildlife. He never wasted ANY part of the animal, he makes furs and eats all of them, he never over hunts. Whenever I hunt I try to take his 'moral code' with me.
Ted Nugent is still a waste of oxygen. He says stupid stuff like 'If Obama wins this election, I'll be either dead or in jail'. He is a massive warmonger yet actually shit himself and made himself as disgusting as possible to avoid Vietnam. In regards to the topic, I think that although the amount of birds she killed is complete insanity, the death threats are completely uncalled for.
oh my god i'm sorry that just looks awful
That's a LOT of birds, but once they're cleaned and frozen it ends up being a lot less meat than you'd think.
Imagine if she'd been hunting cats, FP would probably be joining in with the death threats...
But I love chinese food!
Those are pheasant in there, my family would buy a load of eggs and raise them in a holding pen till they were fully grown then release them into the wild, we repopulated the parish for the first time in years and they now thrive in heather and bracken,we shoot a few of them every year, they are really good food.
I know they do, but you're also assuming that they all make use of the meat.
I work at a grocery store. Not all of that meat gets sold, people don't buy it, it gets chucked. I think that hunters are more efficient at using more of the animal. I have a friend who hunts, he kills one or two deer a year and freezes the parts to use all year round.
That's like shooting your own children.
Hope they don't name them.
Hope they don't name them.
What grows up, must go down.
Those are Pheasants, right? In some areas it's encouraged to cull the animals to keep the balance right. In some areas in Africa they cull the Elephants to keep the balance of nature right. If they didn't then you'd have even more die from starvation and such. Culling is a very good process to keep the habitat stable for wild life. You have too many deer you'll have a surplus of wolves soon, you have too many wolves it's dangerous and they will starve from the lack of food and will start attacking anything that can be meat. As for 'trophy killings', quite a few of those aren't intentional. I have a friend who was attacked by a bear while he was tracking a deer up north. The bears were running low on their food supplies. The bear attacked and he shot it dead. He decided to take the pelt and make it into a seat covering (Not the most noble approach, but he didn't like the bear so he said the best way to punish him is by making him smell his rear). I know a bunch of people who have had situations where some predator was hunting them or their dog. Wolves, Cyotes, Hawks (My uncle had a little dog and the hawk kept trying to eat it, so he shot it one day when it was attacking the dog). Animals like that are aggressive and are dealt with. Nothing wrong with showing people what tried to kill you and how close you came to death but were able to stay alive.
