it's not a matter of legitimacy, he said it wasn't real. being poorly made, factually inaccurate or biased does not relate to whether or not it's real. saying it isn't real just doesn't make sense no matter what your opinion is of it
I'd really like to know what your definition of "real" is.
you literally just proved with that post you can barely read basic english.

thinking it's real? it's a show where he goes around investigating stuff. it is real. it doesn't matter if the theories are inaccurate, that has nothing to do with it being real.
how you have the brainpower to breath is mind boggling
they're labelled as residential centers but used for multiple purposes including matters of political dissonance. it was inquiries pertaining to that which caused apprehension, and subsequently, it was FEMA that demanded the episode not air which would be very strange if they had nothing to do with any of the things in the episode.
the intention to build these camps is clear in the bill, and though it's not passed, that wouldn't stop fema from experimenting with the concept in collaboration with closely affiliated organizations, which to me seems like the most logical explanation.
that being said, their intentions with these camps is clearly nowhere as sinister as a lot of these theorists believe. it seems to me that they're intended to be used to temporarily confine people of certain interest.
I wouldn't discredit that one bit, as the evidence was there. Remember when the US locked up thousands of Japanese people because they thought they would try to be loyal to Japan? Maybe it wasn't as much as they were going to capture all of us, but rather people of middle eastern background. Either way, there are still questions left unanswered.
It's true that you guys had camps where they locked up people with Japanese origin but i think doing something like this today would get you the same reputation Czar Putin has right now

This was that video I was trying to find, thanks! I was afraid it was deleted off of YouTube.

Stop being pedantic, you know exactly what he meant and playing these word games is a waste of everyone's time.
this attitude is so pathetic. dismissing any obscure idea as being ''nuts'' is exactly the kind of insecure hivemind that makes mass scale conspiracies possible. whether they do or don't have prison camps, they absolutely could if they wanted to and it's all thanks to people like you.
Your attitude is utter shit. You'll never make a compelling argument by just name calling. You could at least try to make a case for yourself and not just whore for ratings as you do.
I can't believe my friends believe Jesse Ventura.
Please kill me.
Is Bruhmis for real or just the most dedicated satirist ever?
OR MAYBE BOTH!
OR NEITHER!
IT'S A CONSPIRACY!
OR IS IT?

What do you accomplish with this post? Are you just looking to get ratings? I don't even understand what drew me back to this place.

you realize you just attempted to read basic english 4 times in a row and failed miserably 4 times in a row and you're trying to mock the brainpower of other people. there are people who can make rational arguments against conspiracy theories and some of them have made posts in this thread, but you are not among them. you misread or deliberately misquote literally every single post you respond to.

he tried to imply that I'm dumb for ''thinking it's real''. that implication doesn't even make sense. it is real, ventura really believes the things he investigates, and if he was telling me to stop thinking the conspiracies are real then he can't read either, because I've clearly stated that much of the show is either misinformation or deliberate lies.

But you are. I don't know why you tried to write of legitimacy as some kind of irrelevant aspect, but that is what you believe this show has, and that is what most of the users on this forum are criticizing you for.
Just because somebody uses a word with normally a different meaning in a context that is synonymous with the aspect at hand, doesn't mean their argument is null and void. Which I should point out again, you are doing in order to defend your opinion.
And if you really believe the above statement rather then trying to deflect an argument for the sake of it, then I have no trouble believing you think Jesse Ventura and his investigations into conspiracies are 'real' or 'legitimate', whichever way you want me to kindly word it.

Just because someone believes somethingreally hard doesn't make it fact, people deny the holocaust ever happened and that it was all one big conspiracy, those kinds of people also do "Investigating"
Proof of something shouldn't work on the "I believe in fairies" principal.
what happened to Jesse Ventura he went from wrestler to wrestling commentator to governor to insane in the span of 20 yearsish
Here, let me tell you why people think you are stupid for believing Jesse Ventura. Let me take my previous statement with the tsunamis.
Jesse was trying to prove through his 'investigation' that HAARP caused a tsunami. This is what he does in order:
1. Sensationalizes the subject
2. Brings in his crack team of investigators
3. Frets about the strength of HAARP
4. Brings up a picture of an aurora, saying this is what was seen over the skys right before the tsunami, a photo taken by a fillipino. If you take that same photograph and search for its origins, its more than 4 years old, of the WRONG aurora entirely, and costs 10 dollars from a private photographers website to remove the watermark plastered over it
5. Says that eyewitnesses never felt an earthquake. This is true because the people interviewed were outside the scope of the earthquake. This is a very common occurrence, because tsunamis effect FAR GREATER AREAS than that are felt by the earthquakes that cause them.
6. Without doing any other research, experimentation, or consultation with scientists, concludes that HAARP did cause the tsunami
7. less than 10 seconds later begins fearmongering what the US could also be doing that causes harm around the globe, and if this was even part of a bigger conspiracy.
Keep in mind, all the while there are jump cuts lasting less than a second in succession and dramatic orchestral music playing the entire while. I rest my case.

if the show wasn't 'real', meaning it was a fictional show, then the politician would be portrayed by an actor, the prison would be a set, the 'investigation' would be a plot point that never happened. it's not an argument about whether or not it's legitimate, the guy just made a really dumb remark towards me. my response to him had nothing to do with my opinion of the show

So your trying to say the show is real in the sense that the people within are real, but the ideas aren't...?
Isn't that sort of obvious? why are you even arguing semantics like that?
snip misread

i think one of the most annoying things about jesse is how he wears a stupid blazer everywhere with a giant seal pin on it and rambles about his time in vietnam and the seals when he saw zero combat
suing someone's widow after they get murdered, real upstanding human being. as if he doesn't have enough already anyway, need i state the obvious in that it's ironic that he's suing for image damages?

He wasn't actually in the SEALs. He was in an Underwater Demolition Team that was reconstructed as a SEAL team almost a decade after he left the Navy.
It's also ironic because he, as with most conspiracy theorists, likes to make a big deal out of his idea of "free speech", but then as soon as someone says something negative about him all that goes out the window.
