That box looks like shit.
They should make consoles like laptops, thin and have a fold out screen. Then maybe some kind of compact controller. It would be neat on really long trips.
The slim versions have been cheaper than the normal versions in the past. The PS2 left out some unnecessary features, like automated disc tray and a fan. The price went down.
Doing this to the PS3 will make it more of a toaster than a console.
Then, 4 years after the PS2 came the slimline PS2. Again, it was cheaper, smaller, and better than the original.
Haha, no way. My friend's slim always overheated and he had to get it replaced 4 times. My original PS2 still works to this day.

I have plans for an even smaller, more compact grill!
I have plans for an even smaller, more compact grill!
The George Foreman grill micro? Good for travel.
What's not to love about a machine that can play Metal Gear Solid 4 AND cook bacon?
Hmm, well I can't love Metal Gear Solid 4 because It's a movie, but the bacon makes up for it.
PS2 slim has a fan. Mine has never broken.
My big fat PS2 broke about two years later I bought it the time it first came out with the never ending "DISC READ ERROR" Bought the PS2 Slim after that, never broke.
Pic 1+2 of the "Slimline PS3" look different the first pic just looks like the case with no bottom.
When the PS3 slimline comes out, if it's not too pricey, it may sway me to get a Playstation 3, as the only console I have at the moment is an old PS2

^^^ Epic video, laughed all the way through. Wonder when it will come out?
Why? They're both consoles. They are both next-gen. They both have multiplayer. Sure, they both have their own perks over eachother, but is that really worth this petty dispute?
yes.
Why can't any of the newer models have backwards compatibility? That was one of the big things the PS3 had over the Xbox at launch, backwards compatibility. Why is Sony dropping it?
