The advert pretty much says if you aren't an environmental freak, you deserve to die. Stupidest adverts ever.
This is retarded,

Nope that's not what it's saying at all. apparently the problem is it's not dumb enough for you to understand it.
Aside from the funny factor, it's message is stupid beyond belief.
The video was rubbish in the first place, way too over the top.

Okay, tell me what the actual message of that advertisement was then?
yay they used weird fishes/arpeggi in the video :3:

It's becoming less and less worthwhile to try to engage with climate conspiracy theorists and their ilk. Gloves are coming off.
I think it is a great representation of government coercion.
I say air the damn thing, make people be aware that if you don't agree with these people they will push and prod you into submission.
Great.
I love how that video works backwards, if they showed it, everyone would get scared of these green campaigns.
Climate change is total BS. No really. It's politically charged, and the main purpose of it is now to gain support for elections.
The overwhelming majority of climate scientists support it--a look at any one of the leading scientific publications will confirm that. The stuff you're parroting is a series of talking points promoted by the oil industry, particularly Koch, who have poured millions and millions of dollars into publicity campaigns to convince people it's all some kind of political scam.
So yes, there is a conspiracy, but you've been suckered into looking completely the wrong direction.
I wouldn't be angry at environmentalists if it wasn't for their seething hatred for nuclear energy.

Really? Thats what you saw in that video? What I saw were some people where were "meh" at the idea of having to do something to to save the climate, and therefore they were killed. Where in that video was there a hint of "climate conspiracy theorists", which I find laughable anyway. Scientific debate is about counterpoints, trying to prove something is either true or false, yet if anyone DARES question climate science they are immediately loonies, or Oil Shrills or deniers.

Yes i agree that climate change is occurring but many disagree on what is responsible for it, primarily, not saying i do but there is also my pool of thought:
Consider this.
Climate change according to the scientists is occurring at an alarming rate, we have but two choices.
1) Burn to death horribly
2) Stop society from working
This whole "10:10" half-assing it won't work at all or put a dent in anything, and any regulations we install wouldn't help either it would only serve to slow it down.
We are all gonna die kids!
Our only hope is to come up with new energy source which is free of byproduct. See you in hell losers!
EDIT: P.S. and people who do still push regulations in light of this obviously do have a political agenda.

He was talking about the people in the thread.

It doesn't help that nuclear waste is a pain to get rid of without burying it under tons of concrete and stuff like chernobyl and the three mile incident.
It doesn't help that nuclear waste is a pain to get rid of without burying it under tons of concrete and stuff like chernobyl and the three mile incident.
It's a pain because environmentalists made it a pain to find suitable places to dispose of it, besides it's not like we can't re-use the spent fuel rods (we can, but do to environmental legislation we aren't allowed to.)
Also, Chernobyl and Three Mile Island are horrible comparisons on the safety of nuclear reactors.
Fun fact: A single coal power plant gives off more radiation and waste then every nuclear reactor in the United States.
omg blod and guts i am crying oh god oh god we r gona b poor

I know but in the eyes of someone that's saying nuclear power is bad they're going to find every accident or problem and just say this is why it's bad.

That's what frightens me, environmentalists are just as blind as the people they are accusing of being ignorant.

Scientific debates are done by scientists. You're not a scientist. I'm not a scientist. We can't HAVE a "scientific debate." Yeah, if you want to post talking points from Infowars or wherever you can, and I can copy the rebuttals from Grist, but at the end of the day neither of us has the familiarity with climate science to judge their validity.
The scientists already HAD this debate, for the last 20 years. Since then their consensus has grown steadily stronger as evidence accumulates.

Don't get me wrong, I understand why the conservatives hate it, given that the popular solution is one of massive regulation of industry.
But i'm not really interested in arguing the politics--the fact that they're attacking the SCIENCE, which IS solid, is pretty unethical. And the fact that even people who think creationists are crazy are falling for this anti-science disinformation campaign is pretty sad.

I don't, nuclear killed my family.
Climate change is total BS. No really. It's politically charged, and the main purpose of it is now to gain support for elections.
The main theory is that if there's more CO2 in the atmosphere, then the temperature will rise due to the trapping of heat.
Perhaps it's worth mentioning that carbon dioxide dissolved into the oceans is more likely to evaporate the higher the temperature, thus as the temperature changes, CO2 emissions would follow.
Hmmm... not to mention the plethora of other more plausible explanation such as sun spots, and the fact that the global climate temperature went DOWN during the industrial revolution.
Now you could argue that this is due to a time lag, in which case we could be seeing temperatures rise due to CO2 from the industrial revolution, in which case all the stuff about temperatures going down last year was rubbish.
Finally, there's the fact that CO2 emissions from households contribute very little to the total CO2 output. It's industries that need to cut back, and even with everyone doing this "10:10" thing, China's constant expansion is highly likely to cancel out any and all efforts made by domestic CO2 reduction.
Problem, Environmentalists?
Climate change has almost nothing to do with most of those things, and in fact will damage the economy irreparably and we would still burn to death.
Nice comic though.
The worst part of the video is the message it sends out.
Remember kiddies! Individualism is a bad thing! Do what everybody else does!
OR DIE.

Hardly a message unique to environmentalism. Every school in the western world pounds that message into children's heads daily.
What the flying fuck?
Join my beliefs or die?
I mean, what on this fucking celestial body, could ever influence any person into a mindset where making something like this is acceptable.
Yeah it's funny, that doesn't stop it from being stupid and doesn't make any intelligent point at all.
It's trying to sell it's ideas on shock value how can you respect that?
It's like drooling at the explosions in a John Woo film, no substance at all.

I am pretty sure you have no clue what that means, and if you do you would realize that it is entirely different in context.
I think that all the activists should think about what they're trying to tell us: We (the people of the countries) shall cut down 10% of our CO2 emissions.
But what about the big companies? They blow out these 10% we saved over a year in less than a second. We have to start there to actually save CO2 emissions. (Especially China)
Why am I not surprised that the majority of Facepunch's left-wing statist pseudo-fascists are supportive of this massively Orwellian video.
