fuck. My house is infested with roaches, and nobody can do shit about it because if we even somehow managed to get rid of the roaches in our house, the ones from next door move right over... Last thing I need is jumping roaches.
Why are people making such a fuss about a relatively neat-looking cockroach? Spiders are far worse, in my opinion. I'd take waking up with a cockroach next to me over waking up with a spider on me any day. Infestations must be the worst, though.

[editline]27th May 2011[/editline] I'd actually be thankful for a spider to be in my house because spiders eat roaches.

Hordes of millions them. Usually our cabinets will be literally BLACK with ants during an infestation in the warm season. What sucks is that you can't really squish them, since there's millions, and their nests are always underneath the houses.
No don't kill it, those bastards are just as important as everyone else.
What have they contributed to the world?
No don't kill it, those bastards are just as important as everyone else.
Cockroaches are people too! :v:
What have they contributed to the world?
I already I said I don't know! But they wouldn't have survived for so long for just taking up space :v: THEY MUST HAVE some purpose is what I'm saying.
God, I hate roaches. I remember eating at a restaurant which was basically overrun with them :ohdear:
Oh no, those are NOT what live in my room.
:suicide: I need to stop browsing this thread, especially at night.

It doesn't look like a cockroach at all, it's more like a praying mantis with grasshopper legs instead of pincers
Well, glad I didn't come across one of them when I went to Table Mountain. Roaches are the least of your worries in South Africa though.
Uhh... because arachnophobic implies massive fear right? Still, never seen a cockroach before. This thing sounds creepy.
It's like hell was given legs and wings, and absolutely no sense of fear, they just go for your fucking face man. Only thing that genuinely freaks me out.
how
They are part of the food chain. Any difference in the food chain will cause death of other species (or their decrease) and the imbalance of the biosphere. In addition, they help decompose garbage
It's so adorable.
It looked like it made love to a grasshopper

You can put alot of cockroaches in a masher and make an radiation survival gel. :v:
You can put alot of cockroaches in a masher and make an radiation survival gel. :v:
Cockroaches, contrary to the myth, aren't radiation-proof. They can survive longer than humans, but they'll eventually die because of it. There are other insects who are radiation proof, though.
