I've used this and it kind of sucks. Its uncomfortable and unnatural feeling and the air flow was too slow. I still prefer a towel tbh
Also the floor around them gets too wet and they often shoot some water back into my face
I fucking love my Roomba-knockoff. It does it's job so well! I have a small hand-held Dyson vacuum for spot-cleaning all the spots a Roomba can't get to. I may anthropomorphize robots bit much though... I turn it on when I'm cooking and have caught myself talking to it at times. "No you dumb disc, you can't fit under there, what are- Oh! You got free? Nevermind, carry on!" "No, that's a wall. You've cleaned that spot 6 times already, what are you doing?!" That sort of thing. Despite it's random behavior, it eventually gets everywhere and I can do something else while it's roaming around randomly. The better non-cheapo-knockoff ones are much better at navigation, so this Dyson one look promising.
It looks like an RTS harvester.
The biggest selling point of a robotic vacuum for me is this:
I remember when I worked at Best Buy we had just gotten the Dyson Air Multiplier in so we decided to have some fun with it. We had one set up near the appliances on a end cap shelf, we would turn it on full blast and make sure it wasn't oscillating so people would walk by not noticing it was on and it would scare the shit out of them.
The Dyson Airblade is the only hand dryer worth shit [t]http://imgkk.com/i/cw6b.jpg[/t]
Based Dan Dryer: But really, the Dyson airblade is pretty darn great.
My Roomba has been working great for the past 3 years. It's really good for picking up cat hair
I remember getting kicked out of a store because I found an (elevated) display table with sixteen of these kinda robo-vacuums so I turned all on at once and they just pushed eachother off despite having sensors to avoid stairs :v:
You just gave me an idea. Roomba Derby, last one standing on the table wins.
You just gave me an idea. Roomba Derby, last one standing on the table wins.
There was that one thing where the roombas had balloons and spikes stuck on to them and the last one with their balloon intact wins. It might've been gerbils though I'm not sure
You just gave me an idea. Roomba Derby, last one standing on the table wins.
Roomba Rumble! It's like Royal Rumble, but lacks sweaty men wearing their underpants on the outside.
Man, I love James Dyson's stuff. I bought an Air Multiplier just because I liked the idea :v:
If you like that idea, you might like to hear that some companies are looking into a similar design for ceiling fans. It's missing lights, but otherwise it's an amazing concept.
