Good, I can't wait until the law is repealed, why would the government give FREE healthcare? Exactly! It's paid by taxes, the taxes of the people. I don't want to pay extra income tax so I can give healthcare to people who leech off the government. They need to get a job and pay for their own healthcare just like everyone else. GG Obamacare xD
I walk on the grass why should I pay for roads!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Before someone jumps on my ass.
entrapment
please tell me all about the history of communist norway, sweden, finland, and denmark
Please tell me when Finland became Scandinavian
Please tell me when Finland became Scandinavian
uh
Please tell me when Finland became Scandinavian
finland was part of sweden till like 1917
Please tell me when Finland became Scandinavian
Finland has always been considered part of Scandinavia. Finnish people share similar cultural roots as the Swedish, Norwegian, and Danish.
That, and the current system is hell as it is. And I don't know about you, but I certainly wouldn't like seventy five percent of my paycheck going to taxes. Fifty percent is far too much as it is. Stop using this.
Mine is between 30 and 20 percent
As written by the judge in his decision: "I note that in 2008, then-Senator Obama supported a health care reform proposal that did not include an individual mandate because he was at that time strongly opposed to the idea, stating that ‘if a mandate was the solution, we can try that to solve homelessness by mandating everybody to buy a house,’...” Judge Vinson wrote in a footnote toward the end of the 78-page ruling Monday.
finland was part of sweden till like 1917
No, it was apart of the Russian Empire in 1917 [editline]1st February 2011[/editline]
Finland has always been considered part of Scandinavia. Finnish people share similar cultural roots as the Swedish, Norwegian, and Danish.
But Finnish is a Ural language and the Finns aren't even the same race as the rest of the Scandinavians

I demand my politicians be static!
republican idea anyway
Republican universal healthcare = bad republicans taking away freedoms Democrat universal healthcare = an act of Jesus himself to help the poor
No, it was apart of the Russian Empire in 1917
it was essentially part of sweden till 1917 and not all scandinavians are the same race either
Republican universal healthcare = bad republicans taking away freedoms Democrat universal healthcare = an act of Jesus himself to help the poor
Not what I said. [editline]1st February 2011[/editline] Please don't make such silly assumptions.
Facepunch is all about silly assumptions, these days.
If people have the right to seek happiness in America, and they really hate health insurance, then forcing them to buy it would be a violation of there rights. I think the bill should be repealed and replaced, by something that is passed in a two party congress. Whatever compromise they came up with would be better than either sides solution likely.
This bill itself was a compromise of Democratic and Republican ideas.
It was? Not one of the authors was a republican. It was defiantly not passed in a bipartisan congress.
;27805984']It was? Not one of the authors was a republican. It was defiantly not passed in a bipartisan congress.
Uh... god damn it, you're so ignorant. The bill was gutted and restructured by republicans. For the worse.
Uh... god damn it, you're so ignorant. The bill was gutted and restructured by republicans. For the worse.
When? Not a single Republican voted for it, as far as i know.
;27806125']When? Not a single Republican voted for it, as far as i know.
Yeah, but that doesn't mean it was watered down to try and get their votes. Why do you think the public option was dropped?
;27806125']When? Not a single Republican voted for it, as far as i know.
It was still degraded to shit because of Republican obstructionism.
;27805758']If people have the right to seek happiness in America, and they really hate health insurance, then forcing them to buy it would be a violation of there rights.
You can't pursue happiness if you are condemned to die by an insurance company that is denying you coverage based on a pre-existing condition.
goddamnit the founding father's vision of america was one with expensive health care that makes people lose their lives and coverage based on legal loop holes and i'll be damned if a liberal tells me otherwise i don't even have to read any of their works because i know it's in my gut
