• Justin Bieber attacked by fan during show in Dubai
Bieber’s bodyguards managed to restrain the offender as the pop star walked off the other side of the stage.
He didn't have a chance to fight back. One moment he's got Beiber up against the piano, the next he's being dragged behind the stage by two rent-a-cop's. I hope they didn't beat the shit out of him backstage.
The fans screaming "JUSTIN OHMYGOD JUSTIIN!!!" are the best part.
Because they're teenage girls, and teenage girls love pop-music, especially if it's done by a hot guy.
This has been the case for decades anyway, it's not like it's new with Bieber.
I don't get why facepunch gets such a hard on for this guy. It's like whenever there is coverage on him I could guarantee that you would also see it on facepunch.
sure, if the people running the show are bad people and don't care what they do as long as they get the audience's money
it's still extremely common regardless, i don't like JB but the last thing he needs to be criticized over is the fact he lipsyncs
it's still extremely common regardless, i don't like JB but the last thing he needs to be criticized over is the fact he lipsyncs
fuck that it's fraud and anyone who does it sucks
That lip syncing. Waste of money to see any band who does that, let alone jb.
it's still extremely common regardless, i don't like JB but the last thing he needs to be criticized over is the fact he lipsyncs
I don't think it is, paying out the ass for tickets (last concert I went to cost me $70 for a ticket) and having a shitty lip sync is bullshit.
is it just me or is this kids career going into the gutter
it's just you, unfortunately he's still a huge sensation and is nowhere near disappearing
it's still extremely common regardless, i don't like JB but the last thing he needs to be criticized over is the fact he lipsyncs
Just because it's common doesn't make it right. It's fake, dishonest and wrong as shit to lipsync. This kid makes millions of dollars a year, off of shitty music that's made to sound better (or shitter) by the help of computers, which is even more wrong. Now I'm no music aficionado, but even I can tell when someone is bullshit and doesn't deserve a dime of any of the money that he's made.

http://deadmau5.tumblr.com/post/25690507284/we-all-hit-play
its no secret. when it comes to “live” performance of EDM… that’s about the most it seems you can do anyway. It’s not about performance art, its not about talent either (really its not) In fact, let me do you and the rest of the EDM world button pushers who fuckin hate me for telling you how it is, a favor and let you all know how it is. I think given about 1 hour of instruction, anyone with minimal knowledge of ableton and music tech in general could DO what im doing at a deadmau5 concert. Just like i think ANY DJ in the WORLD who can match a beat can do what “ANYONE else” (not going to mention any names) is doing on their EDM stages too.
of course its safe to say this just applies to DJ's, but i'm sure the situations are similar seeing as how it takes even more effort to sing a song flawlessly when you can just lipsync it
it's still extremely common regardless, i don't like JB but the last thing he needs to be criticized over is the fact he lipsyncs
Why would I pay money to watch a musician lipsync? It's fake, and it's lifeless. If they're good, there's a raw energy in a live performance that lipsync can't even come close to. I'll take this over listening to a lipsync any day of the week.
It's pretty common for artists to lip-sync in concert
Maybe in the recent years, but back in the rock'n'roll days real men played their songs at concerts without these wussy lip syncs.
yes, and those were better days for music. doesn't change the fact the world we live in today revolves around putting less effort for more reward. (not saying every music group of today is like this, but a lot of them are)

for those who don't know, mr. bieber does have a track with a hook playing for most of his songs, which he also sings a lead over. on dance heavy songs he usually does a complete lip sync from what i can tell. then he does some acoustic songs where he's really singing and playing guitar. this is industry standard for the most part with pop singers. he's a good singer
Holy shit that's a lot of people.
72,500 in attendance that night. [editline]7th May 2013[/editline]
for those who don't know, mr. bieber does have a track with a hook playing for most of his songs, which he also sings a lead over. on dance heavy songs he usually does a complete lip sync from what i can tell. then he does some acoustic songs where he's really singing and playing guitar. this is industry standard for the most part with pop singers. he's a good singer
That was probably the best singing I've ever heard him do, but even then I'd just say it was okay. You know which pop star has a shockingly good voice though? Lady Gaga. Her duet with Tony Bennett fucking blew me away. Now THAT is someone who can sing.
is it just me or is this kids career going into the gutter
I think he's already there.
So he does drugs, lip syncs, uses a fake piano, and relies on his security guards like baby to a mother. And teenage girls still love him.
Sure for the first 3, but every concert I've ever been to has had security in some form. Either in the form of police officers, a private security firm, or both. If both, then the private security are the ones guarding the stage. Also, security at concerts don't fuck around, they will tackle you, or toss you off the stage like a ragdoll. Whether it's a JB concert or an Oz concert, there will be security, and they will not take kindly to you crossing that line.
what the fuck was that guy doing? doesn't he know the harsh penalties of being a homosexual in the middle east?
It looks as though he just wanted a hug.

JUSTIIIIINNN OH MY GOD ARE YOU OKAY???!!!
I saw this on the Today Show this morning and the anchorwoman said that he was still miraculously singing even when knocked down.
He would never lip sync. GO TO 2:00 TO SKIP THE WORST MUSIC IN THE WORLD
Before we all hop on the J Beebz hate train and what not let's remember that one of the best bands in history began with songs like "I wanna hold your hand.", and screaming teenage girls. Give the dude a few years to find himself and see what kind of music he makes then. He's still really young.
is it just me or is this kids career going into the gutter
He's just following the path of pretty much every other flavor of the month boy band before him.

He has talent but he's one of the biggest people in popular music right now, why do people think everything he does is his choice? Far from it. But they don't think that, all they're thinking is how well they'll fit in by calling him gay and saying he sucks.
