Well Russia you're a backwards shithole that only became relevant after you crawled out of the stone age 100 years ago and created the shittiest, most disgusting system the world has ever seen, ruled by manipulative tyrants.
But a Conservative MP has waded into the row by saying on Twitter that President Putin "really is a tosser".
At least one politician has the balls to say what we're all thinking.
And what do people remember Russia for?

And what do people remember Russia for?
Being a country that can defeat enemy's by their mere weather, then just flinging millions of peasants at weakened enemy's , both during the Napoleonic wars and WW2 battle for Stalingrad.
Didn't work for them so well during the winter war.
Also communism, which they nicked from french and European politic philosopher's
Maybe nobody cares about Britain, but not even Russians care about Russians.
I completely disagree with the 'invented most things worth inventing', because I know that at least to be completely untrue. Britain was certainly good at adapting the technologies of other civilizations, whether those be from Arabia, India, the Orient, or the rest of Europe.

That's actually an overblown myth, there wasn't THAT much zerg rushing in tactics.
Doesn't change the fact that our country's a shithole tho :v:
[sp]Man, I wonder what would've been if Alexander II hasn't been murdered by rebels, he had some innovative shit in mind[/sp]

There's a comment to be made here about explicit material (for example, pornography) and censorship, I think.

oh all is good then.
Have you seen the size of Russia? They're over compensating for something, like actual historical and economical relevancy
woops didn't catch that, I meant Basketball. I recall watching an ESPN 30 for 30 film that said Baseball goes way back to France and it was a game monks played or someshit.
Most sports honestly don't have a single origin. Sports like Football, rugby and basketball were played all across Europe since Roman times and probably before.
I'd say usually the team games are fairly old and you'll usually find more modern sports being for just two people. Like tennis.

Space exploration? Mathematics lots of fairly significant contributions.
"Let me be clear - Britain may be a small island but I would challenge anyone to find a country with a prouder history, a bigger heart or greater resilience," he told reporters.
Wow, the glorifying of Britain's history is ridiculous on this scale. Greater resilence? Russia at that. Bigger heart? No idea what he meant, but probably that one will be the only true one.
