You must be willfully ignorant if you haven't seen the multitude of well-reasoned arguments made by pro-gun posters. For someone who accuses others of not making good arguments, this is definitely not a good look for you.
Thinking you're making a good argument is different than actually making a good argument.
Thinking you're making a good argument is different than actually making a good argument.
How exactly have the multiple well reasoned arguments from the pro-gun side not been good arguments then?
Thinking you're making a good argument is different than actually making a good argument.
Even if that were the case its still better than half the shitpost snipes i see from quite a number of anti-gun posters who have no intention on listening to the other side and are only there to mock and belittle.
I mean even if Marxism didn't work, let's say, the ideal for corporate oligarchy (modern conservatism) is literally a hellscape in comparison to Marxism's clear attempt to make life better for everyone. Even if Marxism is corrupted, corporate oligarchy is ALWAYS corrupted.
On one hand you have got a shitty place to live in with no real hope for the future, on the otherhand you have a form of government and economics thats never been properly implemented after a dozen tries and is responsible for some of the worst genocides, starvations, and worst ways of life in human history. Yea living in this corporate world sucks but saying that Marxism is better is just dumb. On paper it most certainly would be but its absolutely unattainable. [editline]15th March 2018[/editline]
Thinking you're making a good argument is different than actually making a good argument.
People have been making good arguments, but they dont line up with your train of thought or your ideals so you just dissmiss them.
Thinking you're making a good argument is different than actually making a good argument.
Okay then what arguments are bad in this thread
Thinking you're making a good argument is different than actually making a good argument.
This statement on its own is true although within this context I'm not quite sure what you mean by this. I'm quite certain the majority of people who have partaken in gun threads within the last month would agree than pro-gun posters have done a decent job of providing well-reasoned arguments. If you could perhaps provide examples that somehow counter this, by all means, go ahead. An even better idea would be to provide examples of posts by people who fall under the category of "a seemingly good argument from the poster's perspective but not actually a good one".
I'm a liberal. I do not want marxism. Your rhetoric, and manner of talking about issues would easily push people to the "right".
Being a liberal isn't a gateway drug to marxism and people don't have a duty to censor themselves in order to make sure they don't super scare someone on the internet with a buzzword into accidentally voting for a fascist or anything like that.
