Blame it on the Beckhams: Carbon Footprint of the Royal Wedding is Huge

I do agree that this fancy formality was taken to a very large scale. And that just proves how crazy people are, in a kind of a good way of course.
Tbh the carbon footprint from transport like cars, airplanes and all that is miniscule when compared to the carbon footprint from factories and other manufacturing plants.
Some researchers say you can convert all the cars in to hybrids that don't use gas and all that and the carbon footprint wouldn't change that much. Most of our carbon footprint comes from factories and energy plants.
I remember reading or hearing years ago that the prius is less environmentally friendly than a lot of cars because of the manufacturing process of the batteries.
Wow this is just incredibly insignificant considering it happened once, it's not like theres a royal wedding everyday.

I did a research paper on this and there's not really any hard data either way, most of the claims about the Prius being bad for the environment are from auto sites and stuff but as far as I can tell there's not much research on it.
Also the whole thing is contingent on how often you drive the car. If you buy a Lamborghini and never drive it it's going to have less of a carbon footprint than a Prius you drive every day.
Who cares? Honestly, the average person isn't too concerned with this.

Yeah it's a stupid hat, but I'd hit it.
I don't even give a fuck.
