Is this the last day of sales?
Tomorrow is the last day.
Valve has a lot of nerve putting Mount & Blade on sale - the sequel/stand-alone expansion pack "Warband" is a direct improvement that fixes a ton of bugs and annoyances, while adding a bunch of new content such as animations (the hilariously sloppy ones were overdone) and a completely new faction with their own weapons and armor.
The multiplayer capability is an additional bonus; with in-depth melee combat rivaling that of Jedi Outcast 2.
It's definitely worth the extra $5, but I'm clueless as to why Valve would put the original on sale instead of the sequel. It's just going to frustrate new players. Warband is better in every way than the original Mount & Blade. Both games are on sale; Warband is $5 more and not listed on the front page.
Feel free to stick with the original if Mamlukes are missing you off, though. :v:
I think warband was on sale a few days ago, actually.
I'm wondering whether to buy Just Cause 2 or Conviction...

Don't buy Conviction. It's a generic action game with some stealth elements. Instead of the Stealth game it should be, and pretends it is. A huge mess.

Well, I heard the coop was good. And is Just Cause 2 better?
I bought Metro 2033.
Bourbon is a pretty cool guy.
