I am pretty sure the democrats are doing a great job at making Russia feel antagonized back to the Cold War relations compared to Trump expanding nuclear arms ironically.
How does one ironically expand their nuclear arms cache
I am pretty sure the democrats are doing a great job at making Russia feel antagonized back to the Cold War relations compared to Trump expanding nuclear arms ironically.
So your idea of defending Trump is blaming the Democrats for Russia's invasion of Crimea which is what fucked everything up in the first place back to Cold War relations. dude
So your idea of defending Trump is blaming the Democrats for Russia's invasion of Crimea which is what fucked everything up in the first place back to Cold War relations. dude
Woah, there I wasn't talking about Crimea. The DNC hacks and the posturing from the Clinton campaign as of late mate.
Woah, there I wasn't talking about Crimea. The DNC hacks and the posturing from the Clinton campaign as of late mate.
oh, took it too far in my brain then, sorry mate
damn this guy is an actual fucking retard and we put him in charge of the largest nuclear arsenal on earth god bless us all
Down south it's known as "bless their heart"
Explain to me how Trump is supposed to foster better relations with Russia now if the nuclear arms race is about to start.
Haha if only the world was this fair
Correct me if wrong but this comedy of errors reminds me of the prevalent stupidity present before. World war one

I have no sympathy for anyone that would even consider proliferation. As far as I am concerned, they are enemies of humanity and should be removed from power by any means necessary. Disarmament is one of the most important safeguards for the future of our species, yet these two assholes just want to show off who has the bigger cock while endangering the entire planet. Combine that with their climate policies and it is clear that they are actively working towards destroying the world, intentially or not. How do we convince the human race to dump these fuckers?
you know what fuck it let him go unfiltered we need people to know how insane this asshole is I want him to say something so fucking bad that it gets him and mike pence impeached
Its gonna have to be a doozy, even openly bragging about sexual assault aka "Grab them by the pussy" wasn't enough to destroy his election.
Great idea. MAD taken to the extreme, no one can fuck with the US or you're gonna blow a continental plate apart and kill everyone, no fucking around with missile defence systems
The refining grade of the materials would actually not be that unreasonable, since the mass of the fuel makes it go supercritical on way lower percentages of purity... using normal nuclear grade uranium would detonate the second it exists lol. [editline]22nd December 2016[/editline]
Time to party like it's 1962
Well, putin has a point that creating a nuclear missile shield is pretty much an act of war...
Its gonna have to be a doozy, even openly bragging about sexual assault aka "Grab them by the pussy" wasn't enough to destroy his election.
he might try to be cool like one of those facebook college kids and post an image of a crime / brag so you never know
If we are risking nuclear war because people didn't want to vote in Clinton over an email server, I swear to fucking God...
B-but why though? we're not at war with anybody.
If we are risking nuclear war because people didn't want to vote in Clinton over an email server, I swear to fucking God...
Loose lips sink ships. OPSEC is deadly serious
I thought about it for a bit, at first I believed 1 nuke should be enough to mantain safety, but like if you use up that one nuke then nothing is stopping the other country from retaliating if they already took that one blow. So I thought about it for a bit and I've come to conclusion that about 4 is enough
Unsure if this post is a joke or not, but 4 nukes would barely dent a large nation's infrastructure. It'd just piss them off... a lot.
isnt the problem that most of our current nuclear weapons are outdated and it's better to replace older nukes with newer ones?
Replacing older warheads with newer, more modern, more controllable warheads? Yeah, sure, that's part of stewardship of the stockpile and should be done. I have no problems with that, on either side of the Pacific. The problem is that both Putin and Trump want more warheads in general. [editline]22nd December 2016[/editline]
B-but why though? we're not at war with anybody.
The fuck you smokin'? We've been at war with half of the middle east since 2001 when Bush Jr used 9/11 as a blank check to roll tanks across that desert in whatever direction whimsy took them.
Unsure if this post is a joke or not, but 4 nukes would barely dent a large nation's infrastructure. It'd just piss them off... a lot.
I went looking for something related to this, and found an article written by a nuclear physicist from texas about a nuclear strike on his hometown. http://www.johnstonsarchive.net/nuclear/nukergv.html It took 4 bombs to destroy his tiny little town and one of them was a dud and saved a quarter of it. Imagine how many you need to wipe out a major metropolitan area, accounting for duds and the missiles being shot down.
I am pretty sure the democrats are doing a great job at making Russia feel antagonized back to the Cold War relations compared to Trump expanding nuclear arms ironically.
But what about the democrats guys?
Woah, there I wasn't talking about Crimea. The DNC hacks and the posturing from the Clinton campaign as of late mate.
The Clinton campaign is dead, get over it. But yes, that was a huge crock of bullshit.
I know I'm overly optimistic, but I honestly am not worried at all about nuclear war. I can't quite figure out any smart words to back up my claim, but it just feels like with the superpowers today if Nuclear War ever would've happened, it would've happened already.
Trump has a very interesting idea on "Fixing America", all the recent things I have read before he has even been sworn in is honestly quite chilling. What is really going to happen? I don't think it will be good but congress is there to (hopefully) make it not terrible
Not really. Most nukes are pretty small in yield and the delivery systems aren't very accurate even if they aren't intercepted and destroyed before they hit. Over a thousand nukes have been set off between 1945 and now without a nuclear winter.
Those nukes weren't hitting cities at that time though, mainly the ocean and deserts. If nuclear missiles went off in the planets largest cities there would be a hell of a lot more debris being kicked up
If a nuclear war starts, i'm gonna spend all my energy to punch trumps face in.
Over a thousand nukes have been set off between 1945 and now without a nuclear winter.
You're really arguing this? They were set off in "safe" (Forvthe countries involved) locations, now think of the fallout from just one bomb hitting somewhere like Paris, Berlin or London, that s millions dead within hours from the fallout from the first bomb, there is no way nukes are safe, in no world is it viable anymore.
Very strange, the anti-trump narrative seems to have shifted from "Trumps becoming best friends with Russia, we're all just going to be allies with Russia/a puppet of Russia!" to "Well, nuclear war with Russia seems inevitable now. THANKS TRUMP!" Now, don't get me wrong, I think Trumps been making some pretty shitty choices so far, and probably won't shape up to be the most amazing president ever. But you guys need to do yourself a favor and calm down, think about some of your anti-trump statements. I don't think a single person here commented on the fact that a few days ago, Trump and Putin besties was the latest anti-trump craze. Any given Trump thread is 90% shitposting and 10% snark, and all meaningful discussion has eroded away. It's taken 4 pages and only a handful of people have flirted with the idea that Trump just wants to modernize and stay on top of nuclear weapons, not expand the already exorbitant nuclear weapon stockpile of America.

In fact one shouldn't be jumping on trump so hard, they need to ask why Putin is expanding nukes first?
What the hell does "comes to its senses regarding nukes" mean?
I personally thought we already went through that phase during the Cold War, and how terrifying the notion of "everyone you know and love could die in a flash at any moment should someone piss off the wrong guy" could be.
What the hell does "comes to its senses regarding nukes" mean?
He thinks nukes should be used in conventional warfare like regular weapons (using nukes on ISIS etc.), he's been asking his advisors multiple times why he isn't allowed to just casually order nuclear strikes. The fact that he thinks nuclear weapons are just another tool in the American arsenal to be used whenever is genuinely frightening. Granted he cannot call a strike on his own so the odds of the crazy bastard actually launching a nuke are pretty low, that's probably not going to stop him from threatening to use nukes over twitter left and right against the country of the week.
