I still think it's bullshit they didn't show pictures. We kill Saddam's sons and plaster their mugs after we blew the fuck out of the building they were in all over the news as proof they're dead, but not with the man that murdered 3,000 of our people?
Wasn't there a story a bit ago that wikileaks unveiled that osama's body was not buried at sea and instead taken to the US on a CIA plane?
He wasn't sent to sea, he was brought to the USA and cremated. Nobody knows what happened to the ashes though...

This is what I thought of when I read the thread title. Back on topic, I highly doubt that he will find his body since he has an entire sea to search and I am pretty sure that a single body will not be very easy to find.
Such a feat makes the "needle in a haystack" analogy an easier objective. He'll never find anything. And if he somehow does find something, It's going to be tiny bone fragments or a skull, If that.
Annual Snort A Dictator Party.
Osama wasn't a dictator, bro. He was the leader of Al-Qaeda.
I don't want to do the math, however if a person was a needle, and the ocean was a haystack, I wonder how much hay that would be (maybe in bales of hay?)
The story of giving him a respectable islamic burial is kinda bs considering how they have treated / let their enemies leaders be treated in the past (ie Saddam and Ghaddafi). If they had the opportunity, they wouldv'e taken him alive and pull of some Abu Ghuraib style shit if not hand him over to the northern alliance who wouldve done something probably worse. Another theory is that he was captured (dunno dead or alive) and was being taken away in a chopper during the fighting, but the chopper was shotdown by his own guys. Some of the seals in that chopper died. The rest died later in a Taliban attack. ("rest" not sure if any seal remains from that operation) Coverup? Maybe.

Saddam was given a trail and executed by Iraq, not the U.S. Ghaddafi was captured and executed by rebel forces, not the U.S. It is a different situation regardless. In regards to capturing him alive, that apparently was not a priority considering he was shot twice in the face while unarmed. If they wanted to take him alive they would have done so. And also the "theory" you mentioned is complete unfounded bullshit.
http://articles.latimes.com/2011/aug/06/world/la-fg-afghanistan-chopper-20110807 And why would you just kill a team of your most highly trained guys considering that you'd be wiping out the time and money put into training them as well as their experience.
