I don't see the problem. Ubisoft is a fucking enormous company and the Assassin's Creed games have ridiculously high production values for how frequently they are released, so it makes sense that they're working on them this far in advance.
Quality over quantity every time. Imagine how good a game they could make if they released one every 3 or 4 years.
Unfortunately the way they've adapted the series into a frequent release money machine, their business wouldn't stack up very well if they decided to do that now.
I can't wait to fall through the ground even more times in Black Flag than in 2, Revelations and 3 combined.
Actually I think you'll be able to clip through buildings this time. (oh wait you can already do that WHOOPS)
This kills the franchise.
Do you know what really confuses me?
Assassins Creed: Black Flag has you play the part of an infamous pirate right? So how the fuck does being an infamous pirate, a well known local/sea faring dick smoker benefit someone who somewhat frequently partakes in such clandestine operations as fucking assassinations?
Altair and his Brotherhood were located in Masyaf, a mighty castle that was under siege at least one time.
Ezio owned Monteriggioni, which was pretty much a fortress that got later attacked and overrun by Ezio's enemies.
I don't see your point.
AC1 made it and AC2/BH was amazing, ACRev not as much, but it solidified Ezio. AC3 was amazing looking but ehhh
no more too soon, please. If you do make one, I want to see a templar as the main character (As the assassin in the past)
the greed has taken over ass creed
Assassin's Creed 12: Pepsi & Ruffles Edition
I will never understand why people have remotely anything against the possibly only AAA series that's actually good/great
have you people ever played this shit
have you people ever played this shit
yeh sadly. after 2 it gets boring, after brotherhood it gets awful. i put whatever its sequel was called down after an hour

ac3 is by far the best installment of the series, go try it sometime chesty listen to me
i would trust you honest! but in addition to the fact the games got boring, i wasn't able to play 2 until after many workarounds because i bought a preowned copy and i couldnt access any of the additional features i was supposed to get with brotherhood because the drm system was totally fucked for me
fuck giving these guys any more of my money
but AC3 stopped being good after you stopped playing as the [sp]guy that turns out to be a templar[/sp]
seriously, connor was the lamest assassin of them all

True story.
He had a great background and all the elements of having a decent character built around him but Ubisoft just stopped once his village was destroyed. Then the game really became a chore to complete.
pretty soon they'll be up to assasin's creed: modern warfare, and it'll turn out to be the main character just using all the badass assasin skills that he learned from the stupid machine reading his ancestor's thoughts or w/e the hell the plot is with that, and no past lives whatsoever
I'd like to see an assasin's creed take place in Feudal Japan, or modern day time.
TBH I like the run and jump gameplay of assassin's creed, but felt the game was basically go to the next objective. There wasn't much incentive to explore the huge landscapes they made
