I hack my friend's profiles all the time cuz I know their password ;D :v:
What I really hate is how they say changing your password using simple password claim forms or using keyloggers/phishing websites is a form a hacking when really it's just using your gullible nature to fucking bother with giving you any of their personal shit.
To quote wikipedia.
In computer security and everyday language, a hacker is someone who breaks into computers and computer networks.
"Oh god I just got hacked" "No I just ARP poisoned you, you dumbshit, your fault for not using fucking SSL" To be honest, sslstrip but at least you can easily notice if someone is using sslstrip.
Reminds me of how last week I played one typing game (where you try to be as accurate and fast as possible) and I got 180wpm with a 99% accuracy, everyone from my class was just speechless, even the frigging teacher and SHE said "wow you must be some kind of hacker or something" :v: it's funny how overused the term hacker is these days.
You must be like those hackers who punch a shitload of keys in 5 seconds and hack the DOD. Like in the movies.
"Omg I just got hacked and the only ones who know my password are like four people I know."
I was accused of hacking this one 14 year old girl who I once dated. (this is a year back, she's 15/16 now) A note was posted onto her wall with a conversation she had between a morman and it was really sexual. I was the first to comment on it due to being online 24/7 and she fucking told everyone I'm a hacker. Bullshit. So I proceeded to copy and paste the note once it was reported and I pasted it in my notes. Dumb asses think hacking is so easy. Giving someone your fucking password isn't hacking. I swear I might be the only literate person in my whole school, as I don't know anyone who I can talk to about more tech savvy shit. They all just say "omg i hakd the playstation netwurk!1 yeh tat was mi!!11" [editline]6th October 2011[/editline]
I type 120wpm (on a good day) with 99% accuracy and everyone fucking stares at me like I'm a wizard. Apparently I type faster then anyone in my whole school district since Grade 3. I keep going back to my elementary school and looking on the "WPM Board" and I've still been first for the past 4-5 years. Typed 100wpm back in 4th and 5th. Gonna get me a good job. :v:
I once put up a phishing site and sent fake email to my friends and put the site up for 1 hour and i got like 10 passwords (They were real). and like 50 fake passwords :v: [editline]6th October 2011[/editline] whoops on my alt for no reason.
Adam jensen would be rolling in his augmented grave if he read this article.

I only got hacked once in my life, and that was when i was 13 and desperate enough to try a hack for kalonline :downs: [SUB][SUB](Changing your z-position in memory allowed you to run in the air or under the ground server-side for whatever fucking reason, i was just too stupid to do it myself w/ cheat engine or similiar)[/SUB][/SUB] [editline]6th October 2011[/editline] I'm 21 now.
Hacked with a 10 mbit pipe and a 16 core bit GUI with extra kernals
I once got hacked by my hallmate who changed my gender from male to female, I did not notice it for months until he mentioned it. v:v:v
god those kids are stupid that's not how hacking works at all !
You guys do know the difference between hack, crack and attack yeah? Hacking is whereby you write a dirty piece of code i.e. "I hacked this program together" Crack is breaking/guessing someone's credentials i.e. "I cracked their account security" Attack is destroying, ddosing etc i.e. "I attacked the CIA computers and gained entry" I wish people would stop thinking that either bad security or an attack on something is hacking, hacking is not malicious, it is an act. Also you can hack together physical object such as hacked a torch into a laser; in this sense it is more like modifying but it's usually a quick and dirty solution to prove it's viable. Damn media changing the terminology of hack/hacking in the 80's into something it isn't.
You know when someone has been on someone else's account. "I LIKE BLACK BALLS"
My Facebook hasn't been hacked. Probably because I have anti-virus software. :downs:
Pretty much this. I hate that the definition of hack has changed.
it hasn't. facebook-dwelling teenagers and the ignorant adults that copy the things they do are just retarded
I bet that 99% of these "hacked" teenagers also think that McAfee and Norton are the best AVs ever. Or just don't have an AV at all. ... And use an old version of IE.

And use an old version of IE.
I don't use an AV... The most effective anti virus program is yourself. From the knowledge and simply logic i've accumulated over the many years i've used the internet, you learn how to protect yourself from getting a virus. And should you slip up and make a mistake, there are removal tools out there that are more potent than the most expensive anti virus software. I personally categorize anti virus software as unwanted bloatware, as i don't need it and haven't used it for the last 4 years, and gotten by just fine. :)
I tell people what I really think of them on facebook and then claim I've been hacked. That way I can speak my mind with no consequences!
Ha, "hack". It's their own fault for leaving a computer logged in and lying around, or choosing stupid hipster shit for their passwords like "password".

There are some out there that aren't obvious at all. And just browsing the internet can catch you viruses, even if you're extremely careful. It isn't just e-mails, torrents, and clicking ads anymore. It's much more then that. :colbert:

It's much more then that. :colbert:
Well, it isn't so much about knowing the internet as it is about knowing your computer. If i know my usage stats ony my computer, then if a have in intrusion, virus, malware, etc. Anything of that type, i'll know instantly something is wrong, because my computer's usage stats aren't normal. So having virus awareness, isn't just about being careful about what you do, and where you access stuff on the internet, but is also about getting to know your own computer, and being familiar with your registry. This way, you can easily spot something out of the ordinary of something is altered, or added, with or without your given consent. Viruses always seem to be in your face about this too, since the point of a virus is to destroy your computer by giving it useless calculations and implementing lockouts of important system information. In short, when it comes to viruses, you'll know you have a virus if you get one. Trojans, i find to be a little bit trickier, because they are more or less stealthier than the common virus. However, like i said, if you know your computer well enough, you'll always be able to spot something amiss.
i like toleave my facepunch open in public ilbrary lern to log out shiban
Cause they're retards. Simple as that. 3 / 10 teens are retards.
Last time I was "hacked", somebody logged in on my Runescape account. I was 10 or something and my password was our phone number. Years later I find out that my friend logged on. :v:
Your classmates might not know what it means, when they say hacked it's because they think that's what it's called when someone infiltrates your computer(in any way, even if it's left unlocked). Why the hell do you hate on people for not being as nerdy as yourself.. :v:
