but on the other hand, if your ui is shit, don't send it out to people and not expect shit to get thrown at you
That was literally one of the incentives to be a backer. They didn't send it out for review - but people from both TheVerge and Engadget had backed it, and they reviewed their own developer device as the final product. It's incredibly unprofessional.
Here was the booth they had,
i actually feel terrible about that
god damn look at all those games
Speaking of which, Ashens found a pre-release backer Ouya nearly unused in his local charity store.
The ESA is trying to censor the Ouya place apparently. https://twitter.com/playouya/status/344566070427918336
Whoa, not cool. ESA (which runs @E3expo) tried to block #OUYApark with a big trailer, then someone called police
[IMG_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/Byv1PwV.jpg[/IMG_thumb] Also https://vine.co/v/bliB0VKWUTj [editline]11th June 2013[/editline]
god damn look at all those games
There's more than 6 on the ouya marketplace. just checked the main site now, it says 137
god damn look at all those games
i like how there are 5 digits, as if it'll ever reach over 10,000 games and if it does they'll all be shitty indie games
god damn look at all those games
6 games? Fuck the PS4, OUYA anyday
The ESA is trying to censor the Ouya place apparently. https://twitter.com/playouya/status/344566070427918336
I doubt the ESA even gives half a damn about the Ouya setting up in a parking lot across from them to sell their cheap Rubik's cube to seven people. And I love how they apparently found a drunk guy to dance near some beanbags for that video. Party hard, Ouya devs.
god damn look at all those games
that number of digits is mighty optimistic
Who is the OUYA aimed at anyways? This console sucks
Who is the OUYA aimed at anyways? This console sucks
People with $100 to blow and can't be bothered to buy a cheap 360 or PS3.
https://vine.co/v/bliB0VKWUTj
This video persuaded me to buy a Ouya.
Not even the homeless like it.
i like how there are 5 digits, as if it'll ever reach over 10,000 games and if it does they'll all be shitty indie games
their six games consist of: NES emulator SNES Emulator N64 Emulator Gameboy emulator Gameboy Advance emulator Sega Genesis emulator
I'm pretty sure people who can't afford a smart phone, computer, or console probably haven't ever touched a video game. Really what's the point of getting it? I can play emulators on my shitty seven year old laptop with an Xbox controller if I wanted to experience the OUYA.
